All things considered, I'm surprised PS3 scored so well in games, price and online. Clearly a Sony fan site.
Sony fans can only dream about having games that are so good they are worth paying more for just to play it a day sooner.

How is Nintendo abandoning the "true gamers" when they've always been true to their same gaming philosophy? Isn't it more a case of "l33t gamers" abandoning Nintendo because they have been lured away by another company's offerings? Nintendo decided to market their gaming concept to another crowd, they are highly successfully in doing so, David has beaten the Goliaths, live with it.

Wii games are not intense or addictive, but they're fun and easily accessible to the masses. I'm glad Nintendo is back on top to make gaming a more widely identifiable hobby.
As with the other multiplatform titles, I think the 5 months delay will translate into 360 getting the better version of MGS4, so I agree its probably worth a purchase along with AAA Alan Wake.

Funny I ask that question of PS3 all the time - why buy it now? I see more games on Wii that are worth buying, and believe me there's not much on Wii.
Having said that, R&C looks to be the first real winner on PS3 not counting NGS which is a remake.
I've seen this game on hd. The graphics aren't that bad, but nothing special apart from Nariko's facial expressions. Hair is horribly done though. Gameplay looks to be a serious problem, but 4/10 is a little harsh. I think it will at least be a Lair.
12 - 15 hours of gameplay minus 6 hours of sequenced button mashing. That leaves you with 6 - 9 hours of actual hack and slash. Not too bad for a half assed game.
Gears takes 6-8 hours... Why do PS3 fans even pretend to know how to play shooters?

It's nice to know that not ALL AAA games are 360 exclusive. This one will be on PC too.

Sony's problems can't be solved period. They came in too late, too expensive, too inaccesible to developers. By the time these problems are sorted, it'll be next gen. Sorry some mistakes just can't be rectified.
