Your first 2 comparisons show just how ignorant you are.
As a PS3 gamer, I must disapprove of MK Red's chidish fanboy remarks. Family games may not be my cuppa tea either, but there's no basis to disparage a good game of its genre especially when you haven't even seen how it plays.
Just because Sony spent a lot of dough on the production of HS and RC does not mean that the PS3 is more capable than 360, get it?
And for the record, HS had great cinematics and sound effects, but the gameplay was much lesser than Ninja Gaiden.
And that nonsense about tapping 1/3 of PS3's power - it presumes that the developers already know what the maximum power of PS3 is, and if so, aren't you asking why the developers are not maxing out that known power with ...
PS3 games are magically better?? I suppose you must be referring to the exclusive games only.
Let's take 2 of PS3's graphical showcases Heavenly Sword and R&C. While I'd admit the production value of both games are obviously high and the graphics are impressive, they're still not better than what has been done on 360.
HS looks good because they integrated a lot of high quality cinematics throughout the game, which does add to the gameplay experience. But l...
To spell it out even more lucidly, Xbox360 at launch had attach rates > PS3 attach rates now. So there's really no argument, let this one go fanboys.
On a personal note, I have bought > 20 games in 1.5 years that I've had 360. I just got PS3 a week ago and bought 3 games from the existing library.
You sound like a virgin who just got his first kiss and now thinks he can take on the whole porn industry.
Folklore feels like Enchant Arm + Pokemon. I'd put the game at a 7, not a 5.
Yeah, I played the demo of Folklore and didn't think much of it. Felt like you're playing within a very confined space.
If Sony waited longer, they'd have lost the format war as well. At the very least, the launch of PS3 has done Sony favours in respect of the format war.
Yes, I downloaded the demo and it did not impress at all.
Where's Oblivion?
I downloaded R&C demo and played for a while. I don't see the charm in the gameplay yet.
"KONAMI has decided to delay the title's release in order to make further improvements to the quality of the game and provide even greater enjoyment for more customers worldwide."
For more customers worldwide... sounds like Konami wants to provide greater enjoyment for Xbox gamers.
Wow so many nasims on this thread.
Open your eyes people. Environments on Forza 2 look much better, more details, textures, lighting effects.
GT5 looks sharper, but also looks flat and 2D.
Also, its a joke that they have other cars racing along the track on GT5 but on Forza the player is driving alone. I suppose they need to do that to give GT5 the illusion of graphical edge.
Likewise the choice of cars is laughable. Of course the...
How is PS3 an excellent gaming console if it does not have many great games and the multiplatform games are generally inferior?
PS3 might become an excellent gaming console in the near or faraway future, but until that hypothetical situation becomes a reality, PS3 now is a terrible gaming console but a great cheap blu-ray player.
You obviously haven't played Halo. Whether this bug can be fixed or not remains to be seen btw.
Umm this is it? Anyway, I wonder about the features in this supposed sim. Heard from a source it is way behind another game.
There were those who said Halo 3 wouldn't move consoles. Which rock are they under now?
More great games to look forward to - VF5 with the all important online play and Mass Effect!
Also looking forward to that great blu-ray player price cut which might change my mind about Sony games.
The full game will have more features according to you or to the devs?
From now till then, I'll be practising my skillz on Sigma.
