I really wanted Forza to be the better racer. They seemed to have all their ducks in a row but fell short. The physics engine is a real deal breaker for me. With Gt's new physics engine it's hard to play Forza despite having all the features it has. Mostly because once I start driving the car I'm reminded how good GT5's physics are.
It would be amazing if the game released and actually looked like this but I've been down this road before. Saw the screenshots for forza 3 and was like "Wow this is looking as good if not better than Gt5 prolouge ". I was really hoping it would but that wasn't the case. Well when this game comes out I'll cross my fingers and probably click my heels three times to ensure that it doesn't end up in a stack of caseless cd's like my copy of Forza 3 is right now.
Does anyone know how much this thing will cost? I'm focused primarily on the controller since it's the bread and butter of this topic. Well i'm also concerned about the price of the console. Anyone think it'll cost less than 300$?
It's sounding like you sold your ps3 because you didn't like Gt5. Did you buy it for one game? This comment is actually for Gulyopapa.
It's been said before but I have Gt5 and Forza 3. Having played them both, extensively I have to say that Gt5 feels more long term. It's a little strange that Turn 10 is about to release it's third game on the 360. Also despite all the features that forza 3 had and the year lead it still wasn't able to outsell Gt5. The main reason I think gt is better is because the physics in forza just isn't there. All those features in a racing game like the auction house, paint editor,...
I hope not either. I also hope they don't try to cut corners like releasing some consoles without hard drives, keeping a dated storage medium and knowingly releasing faulty hardware like the rrod.
