all they would do is release it then let the music license expire and be "forced" to remove it from market since they are too cheap to renew them even if the game has been out for only 6 months

it seems that current owners on steam get it for free. i noticed a 1GB update earlier today and after seeing this on n4g i just checked and it says i already own the enchanted version.
here this is from steam storepage:

steam/pc platform has so much more in its library than any 1 console that its hard to use the top few games to make claims. i mean xbox1/ps4 are so new they have hardly any games when compared to the mountain of titles on steam/pc. this is going to lead to pc userbase being far more spread out rather than clumped together in the same 10 popular titles at all times like on console.

no its not the same as every other dev and DLC. this isnt DLC this is separating a single game into 2 different games and purchases and each game runs separate from the others. this would be like buying the next COD game and having to buy it 3 times and each purchase you made ran from its own EXE file and you could only play with other ppl that had bought that same part. it sounds like DLC but it isnt the same situation at all.
