Well if Microsoft is publishing it, than it doesn't matter, it is still exclusive, at least like Gears of War and Mass Effect.
But there is one good thing about this. If it is like those other 2 games, than MS does not own wright of IP so we might AW2 on PS3.

Sony invested a lot of money in this game, and decision to be only use sixaxis was Factor5s, which indirectly Phil confirmed in one interview with gametrailers.com
Now since game flopped in sales(and reviews) they hope to recover some of invested money by offering better version(with analog sticks) to PAL market. But i am afraid that damage is already done and can not be repaired.

I totally agree with you. I got my eyes on "Afrika" since day 1. LBP is cool but is Afrika ends up being what i expect(you described it well) than it is game for me.
