These same so called "fans" (I use that term loosely) of Hideki Kamiya the original DMC creator are a fickle bunch, I seem to recall 2yrs ago when Bayonetta came out the same "fans" comp...

This doesnt just go for square but all game developers. I think that theres nothing wrong with trying something new, thats what keeps the industry fresh and new (and not full of constant sequels)

Yes ix and tactics are my favorites. Though some might not consider tactics a true game in the series.

So I take it you haven't actually played the game...its actually not bad and it certainly doesn't deserve a 55. Movie tie in games like Thor or toy story get 50's not this. I didn't like 13 all but I can at least admit 13-2 is way better than the first.

lol the license system wasnt so bad! Each character should have had their OWN individual license board though, I didnt like how essentially each character was a blank slate. The worst thing about 12 were the summons IMO.
But yeah 9 was pretty awesome I enjoyed it more than 7 actually. But I would absolutely love for square to just give me a REAL sequel to FF tactics. But thats just me lol.
IMO FFX had one of the worst lead characters of any of the others. (Though squall was kind of a moody bastard too) I dont understand why so many think it was so "great" as they say. It started out amazing but...everything else....(battle system and OMG Wakka lol) meh

I like the time travel idea but I kinda feel like that in this particular game it wasnt done exactly right. there are too many random time periods and it doesnt quite make sense why your even traveling to them in the first place.
I wish square instead took an aproach similar to chrono cross and opted to maybe have three different time lines because all the different times feel disjointed to me and a bit limiting considering you can only explore a small area of that particular...

I agree ffxii had the weakest story overall. Bit to me the game play mostly made up for it. Sure I wasn't a huge fan of the license board but combat was fUN the world was sprawling and there was so much to do! I invest about 150 hours worth of gameplay into it which its something I haven't done since the days of ff tactics

Hmmm if it were a flat out remake id be interested in this. But to be honest ffx was amongst one of my least favorite in the series. I never cared for the battle system, cast, blitzball, or Titus lol.
I really just wish square would release versus. I've been waiting for about 6 years now lol
yeah I do feel like the story could have been better. or even cooler if the story could branch out different paths depending on the order of timelines you visited. But its solid.
Overall a huge improvement over xiii. I really like this one. However I'm still angrily waiting for versus

So far I really like FFXIII-2it is a vast improvment over FF13 HOWEVER, it does I repeat it does NOT hold a candle to XII.
But really FFXIII-2 is a pretty good game not great, But I think there are a lot of people that really just want to hate this game (so called fans). I mean sure it doesnt have to be the best one yet but still good.
