Alastar needs to be on this list...
Preach.
Cant wait for this game
-_-
There have only been two "DMC" good games in the series. DmC is just fine.
Im not really understanding why some people feel as though NT changing Dantes hair white somehow contradicts how they've redesigned him.
Even in the first trailer shown back in 2010 the original version of Dante they were going to use had black hair with white streaks growing in. This was foreshadowing that his hair was going to eventually turn white.
Hell, even when NT first revealed Vergil in a later trailer it should have become even more apparent wha...
The point of this article is that there isn't any concrete data to support how many copies DMC4 sold initially nor are there for DmC. Where are you guys pulling these sales numbers from?
Even in the recent articles stating that DmC has only sold 1/3 that of DMC4 no actual numbers for either game have been presented. So it's still kind of a wait and see as far as sales go.
Personally I think its a great game, though I wouldnt exactly give it a 9 or a 10. I agree it certainly has some short comings and hope they address them if there is ever a sequel, but to me at least its much better than "ok".
But I am glad you at least tried it out sir.
jail?
Just curious...but are you in the US? Just asking because as of this moment DmC(Ps3) is ranked #31 while the 360 version is ranked #33. But thats interesting to see it very from region to region if not.
I thought it was just as serious as the first two in the franchise personally.
I actually enjoyed this version of Dante. Admittedly before the first 5 missions or so he was a bit annoying. But about a quarter through I started to enjoy him as a character. I thought given his circumstances and what he had experienced he behaved how you'd expect a person to act.
I'd have to agree with Rocky it's really not all that different. It's all based on perspective of course but DmC has more in common with the original DMC than DMC3. True combat isn't as fast and frantic as in the third and fourth installments, but then again it wasn't in the original it was more about fun combat and atmospheric level designs. Hence it's beginnings as RE4. Which I think DmC succeeds in, true it could be better but in all honesty its not all that complet...
Imo the game is an 8.5. Its Damn good but not perfect. I have no idea why people believe it's mediocre. But we are all entitled to our opinion I guess.
loved the original, it was atmospheric and imo Dante was arguably the coolest (couldn't stand him in 3 and 4) However I will concede that combat was much improved by the third. But I still enjoyed the original much more.
Yes it is sir...Yes it is
Been gaming since the days of the NES. I personally just dont feel like its that big of an issue. However there are instances were I would agree for example paying for characters in a fighting game, or extra weapons ect. But in the case of alternate costumes which dont have any bearing on the endgame experience IMO its just not that big a deal.
True some companies this generation have abused DLC (looking at you capcom), but I dont think that DLC is always a bad thing. Plus th...
The fact that the story was so bland was very strange to me considering that the game came from the same team that made the original FF tactics and Vagrant Story. IMO those two games had the most robust stories ever seen in any RPG, especially for the time period they were made.
just a question. Why do so many people love Persona 4 so much? Ive played ALL of the Persona games (even Nocturne and Digital Devil) and I always thought that Persona 4 while fun, was no where near as awesome as Persona 3. Maybe it was because 4 was so lighthearted but I just thought that its characters and story just were not on the same level.
I loved everything about XII except the story. I believe I played it longer than any other FF game. There was so much to do
Agreed. It's an excellent game
