Are you talking about being able to spectate? That would work to stop cheating if you have their perspective but that wouldn't discourage camping in any way.
If you're referring to the theater mode like in Black Ops, that would only work for after the battle was over. I don't want to wait to know if someone is cheating. The sooner people know a person is cheating, the sooner everyone leaves and the cheater has no one to play with.

according to that article, it sounds like it's strictly linked to how long you've been stationary. Not realistic at all IMO, but it's their way of showing others where you are.
Don't like it- and I don't really even play sniper that much. It would have been better to just have a kill cam that would give their position away. Kill cam is one of the best features in COD and should be included in just about every FPS now. Not only does it discourage camping, but it also lets you know if a person is wall hacking or aim botting.

I'd be fine with that(because I'm a PC player mostly) but 360 people won't be. If you allow PC players to play Xbox players in FPS's, they'll get destroyed. I don't think you realize the advantage a mouse has over a controller.

It's a sad state of affairs that announcing DS's is considered a big deal. DS's should be STANDARD by now!! People shouldn't even need to ask anymore.

I've seen videos of it. You walk in sand and find pieces of cloth and jump around, all the while, trying to get to a mountain in the distance.

If I want to walk around in something beautiful, I'll go for a hike in the woods or a park. I play games to have fun and be challenged. To me, walking and jumping around in sand isn't all that fun or challenging, even if it's good looking.
I don't really get this. I get that its art style is beautiful, but in games, I like there to be gameplay too. I don't want to just walk around all day long in sand. I want puzzles, enemies to fight, etc. What am I missing here besides it just looking good?

You could say the same for just about every genre in video games now. RPG's, RTS's, platformers, fighting, sports, action....I could keep going. All these genres have been done over and over again, yet good developers find ways to add new features and innovate. I trust West and Zamp. will do the same here since they did with COD(before it sold its soul).

Who cares if they don't fix the matchmaking system. The MM is so broken in that game, it's not even worth playing unless you're a high tier heavy.
The lens reflection does the same thing. It tells everyone where you are if you are camping so obviously the developers want snipers to keep moving. They said so themselves.
