Seriously, what is up with all these, "Sony should quit" articles?
No, no they shouldn't. They are a major reason why new IP's are introduced and why the other companies are forced to step up their game. Two gaming companies would not make for very good competition. You need at least three.
It's a little different when you're talking about finishing the sequel to one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time.
Look, I normally will always go for new IP's but when you're talking about HL, it's a different story. It's been forever and the HL games are some of the best I've ever played.
I wish you were right but I don't think you are. If you were, they would have said something about it by now. They haven't even released a screenshot.
It's nice that Valve is making a new IP but COME ON! Where the F is HL3? Quit f'in around and put more resources into HL3 and get it done. It's becoming a joke.
I still think Sony should have incorporated a phone into their Vita. It's a little bigger than a normal phone but I think the Galaxy Note is proving that people don't mind if their phone is a little big if it allows them to do more.
At least offer two forms of Vita. A phone version(would obviously cost more due to hardware costs) that has a discount if they sign up for a phone contract and a plain gaming Vita- just like what they have now.
No it wouldn't. It'd be a waste of money. I'd rather they make a better controller (with a trackball, for example) than force me to spend extra money to include this thing that will only be supported by a handful of games that will all be catered to the casual segment.
I think your idea is better than this thing. With a glove that could sense joint movement or tension, there wouldn't me much lag at all- if any. You can see the lag with this thing in the video. There's already way too much lag with the Kinect. Why add more lag on your hand with a clunky camera that will get caught on things and break. A glove would be much more durable, responsive, and accurate.
And yes, MS seems dedicated to proving everyone wrong about needing...
Sorry MS. You have to have some buttons and a thumbstick somewhere. I know you want to get rid of the controller but you're going to need it for hardcore games. If you want to keep catering to the casual gamers then by all means, keep making this kind of hardware.
I agree. YAY! I'm not retarded!
The first Torchlight was solid but I hated the story(cliche, boring, and unimaginative) and the fact that I couldn't remap the keys.
Does anyone know if you can remap the keys with this one?
1GB is sad, IMO. Basic PC's run at least 8GB nowadays. You can buy 8GB of solid RAM for $35-$40.
The Wii was a gen behind in hardware and it looks like WiiU will be the same. If nothing else, the WiiU will only be slightly better than the Xbox or PS3. I wouldn't call it next gen though.
Actually, it's a mixed bag. Sure, it would probably be faster and save on power but it would also take away flexibility, choice, and most likely, be expensive as hell.
Since Intel will be stacking the memory directly on the CPU die, you'll have to pay whatever Intel says for the memory. Zero competition for the integrated memory means higher prices.
Wow. I totally gave up on this one. It'll be fun to replay the HL1 story but I think it took a little too long to make so the main reason of remaking it (better graphics) is a little lost. Graphics have gone way beyond the Source engine, IMO.
No complaints though. It is free after all.
I can understand not really liking the game that much if you played it years after its release. Other FPS's have surpassed it in terms of gameplay. But how could you not like the story?
I'm guessing you don't realize how deep the story goes because they don't do the best job of revealing it all in the game, IMO. You should read this:

Why not just watch a movie then? QTE's are so easy, anyone with decent reflexes and any type of memory (to memorize the buttons on the controller) can do them. There's very little challenge. There's no strategy in how you play or how you execute your input. I just don't get them. It's not a game to me. It's just, "repeat after me" if you want to see the story. I'd rather just see the story- which then just makes it a movie.
To each...
If it's anything like his previous games, I would say it is. I honestly don't get why people like QTE's.
If you think QTE's are fun, please explain why you think they are. I just don't get the enjoyment gained by pressing a corresponding button that you see on screen.
Okay, dang, sorry. I wasn't sure. I play on PC so I don't know which is why I asked.
I'd say I'm shocked but to be honest, I'm not. It's sad that so many games are going to P2P.
Didn't Blops have DS's for consoles. It did for PC but they were all through one server provider that wasn't that great.
I'll still take DS's through a not so great GSP over the shitty P2P garbage that IW forces people to use on their games.
Why the hell would you want to watch other people playing a video game other than to see if you'd like the game?
LOL at the fanboy who disagreed with this.
