Dark Cloud 2, p3 fes, p4, some smt games, and Rogue galaxy have all aged amazingly well. Man, i play each of these games still just because they are timeless and great.

As for evolution of jrpgs. It has evolved. Many companies took up the anime style and basic gameplay doe so it's easy to put all of them in the same basket. That's why i say this genre is diverse.
You have the stuff from Compile Heart all the way to Capcom with Dragon's Dogma (a godly game that puts other gameplay mechanics to shame, even today).

yeah other than lighting you can't really tell. I shoulda seen the thing about high fxaa before turning it up though because it makes the game look a little weird in certain areas but other than that the art style and gameplay is what it's all about here.

Since we're being honest, witcher was just hype. Didnt like it and sold it right away. I got the plat for Bloodblorne, and am enjoying the hell out of mgs v. I just started zestiria and im lovin it, so this might be my personal goty.

I hope they fix some problems with the 300 series in the next official drivers. My 380 can't run ffxiv in dx11 mode and some people say it has problems with other dx11 games as well. Very sad and i can't afford an upgrade yet.

The story for halo games mattered just as much as splitscreen co op to me. Enjoying a great campaign with my buddy on a couch was so good with halo 2. Looks like you can't do either on this new game ;(
