a price it is actually worth. the game cube is twice as powerfull (i base this on the cpu running at 433mhz on cube and the ps2 running at 197mhz) and has sold around this price for years.
you do remember that the Live Vision camera was announced long before the public ever heard of the eye toy (more than a year before)...so when you say eye toy you should say...Live Vision camera *cough cough*

if you pre ordered at a place like gamestop you should be able to move that money to something else. like some 360 games. so all is not lost.
and let me clairfy...i am not against big and bulky...i personally feel i bought something when it has weight. i rather it feel 399.99 than $.99.
plus we are the ones demanding more...to house all those things required...no wonder the 360 and ps3 are big.

Some of you are saying that the xbox was ugly because it was box shaped (xbox...box shaped).
but wasn't the playstation and the playstation 2 also a box style shape.
you guys saying that that playstation 3 is big because of all the neat things it does inside...but when you were making fun of the xbox...didn't the 1st xbox have more neat things inside over the others at that time...Hard drive, ethernet, ect.

good chance it will. M$ is doing a lot to make their stuff work for pc and 360. the controller is a good example.
360 wired controller works on pc and 360...or at least it will when vista launches.
they stay in multi...this an online game. single player is a prep for online.

your right, lot of bad a$$ exclusives for the 360 right now. you seem to be a gamer first...why not get the 360 and wait for the PS3 to go down in price.
if history shows...you will not miss anything because sony will be supporting the next PS for a long time.
enjoy some PC/360 stuff...then get your PS a year or two later for the unique set of PS games.

i noticed one title that raised my eyebrows...and it was for PS3. Wizardry...how many old timers fired up DOS and played that one. (my hand is up)
one of the best online games ever. to bad about cost, but i understand. if ya want them pay, if ya don't want them don't pay. simple.
in away this keeps the game unique in that not everyone will get them.
i love to see everyone's creation...might be why the game is so fun.
