Good point. It’s really unusual for a game to have a 14 minute section of gameplay that all takes place in one consistent location.
I mean, why didn’t we get to see every location in the game in that amount of time?
Ridiculous.
Why are you taking such offense to a differing opinion? I buy Playstations, too. I came here to watch the video just like everyone else.
Of course everyone has their own opinion, and of course I don't expect everyone to agree.
I just watched the video and when I went down to the comments I was surprised to see universal praise. I was expecting a more middling reaction.
Sorry if my original comment seemed too aggressive, I was le...
This has been in preview for months and everyone already knew about it.
They released this to everyone not in the preview program yesterday. That’s the only reason there is news about it.
This has nothing to do with Sony announcing their new convoluted and terrible UI.
lol what? The Xbox UI is nothing like the PS4 UI.
I get that everyone here loves PlayStation and I’m admittedly an Xbox guy primarily, but this looks like a convoluted mess to me. Are you guy legitimately impressed by this or are you just displaying your fanboy?
Bringing up the in game guide is a series of giant icons that go off the side of the screen, with like 10 smaller icons below that to access other features. Meanwhile the actual Home Screen has a few icons on top and it’s 90 percent wasted space.
All the salty PS fanboys in here are cracking me up.
Sony won’t let anyone touch the PS5 so they have to read about the series X and then bitch about everything instead.
It’s truly pathetic.
Rayford's comment and the fact that it has more upvotes than downvotes should tell everyone exactly how reliable the comments on this website are when they have anything to do with "Sony vs. Xbox".
The first one was SO much better than the second.
Well he's obviously blowing it out of proportion but why in the world would then even institute a cap at all?
What positive reason is there for having a level cap?
If MS had arbitrarily capped achievement points at 999,999 people would lose their damn minds.
@Sayai jin
I'll be beyond shocked if PS5 has a similar feature.
They would have announced it by now if they did.
If you bothered to click the link you'd see that isn't the real headline from Ars.
Whoever posted this took a line from literally the final paragraph of a huge article and made it their headline.
I don't see any practical scenario where I have 12 games suspended at one time, but I can absolutely imagine using it to swap between a couple games.
My friends get on to play whatever co-op game we are playing, I can instantly stop my solo game without finding a save spot, then I can go right back to it when they get off.
Hell, even for online games you can probably just leave it suspended on the main menu and save you a few seconds of boot up time i...
So a website messes up and does unnecessary credit checks on customers, and somehow Microsoft is making money off of that?
You people are so insane with your hate for MS that you come up with craziness like this?
You’re 100% correct but people on this site have incorrectly redefined what GaaS means.
They are clueless. Also it doesn’t help that they just blindly hate anything associated with Xbox.
Put those two things together and you get comment threads like this one.
Of course Sony will make you pay again.
They always rip you off but everyone loves them anyway.
@shabz
I think people might be reading way too much into Todd Howard's word choice.
When he was talking about playing however you want I think he just meant PC and Console, not necessarily Xbox and PS.
Those comments followed from the beginning of the message where he was talking about first coming to console with Morrowind.
I'm not sure either way, but I don't think he necessarily meant what people see...
I'm not nearly as convinced as some of you seem to be that they will release Elder Scrolls 6 on PS5.
It doesn't make a lick of sense for them to do when they can sell it on PC or make people buy an Xbox instead.
According to N4G, every single gamer has a gaming PC anyway, so there is no reason for them to even spend the development time on creating a PS5 version.
I'm not an accounting expert but they have 15 million game pass subscribers right now.
At 10 dollars a month, that's 1.8 billion dollars per year. (Not counting for Game Pass ultimate at $15/month, or for people that are still on the $1 deal)
I think they can afford to make AAA games for GamePass.
Minecraft is a totally different thing considering it was already an established game on all kinds of different devices.
It made more sense to support it than to pull it from everywhere else, or to just stop updating it or whatever.
But a brand new game that comes out in a couple years? I think they will keep it exclusive. It would be silly not to. But they've shocked me before, so who knows?
Come back when you’ve watched more than the first twenty seconds.
