I was planning to skip a month and then come back but I guess I will be getting this. My friend was right, I'm slowly losing my life to an MMO. Which never happened before because I always quit on MMO since they bore me.
Even for shareholders, this barely makes a difference in the price of the stocks nor will it really make any noticeable change to these companies as they aren't primarily gaming companies. If their gaming department takes a hit, they have other department to smooth them out.
If you want to play a game of spin. You could start subtracting some of those millions from banned consoles/RROD out of warranty/other malfunction.
But really what does it matter if MS sold more console to consumer than Sony? One thing is clear, not working on catering to the more hard core crowd. Hardly any exclusive, which moves consoles, not Multiplat.
So would you hire someone to protect your Credit Card and Bank info if they stole it and then release it to everyone? This person prove himself to know how to steal really well, probably knows all the trick, but definitely not someone you can trust or want around.
Sony being arrogant, sometimes, this case, serving justice.
No it's not. Look what happen with the PSP.
I rather wish Sony can focus their attention to adding features instead of focusing on stopping hackers.
I'm not big on MMO at all and not very willing to pay monthly subscription but this game made me consider if I want to pay for the month after the free trial. My roommates and I are having a blast.
I don't know if this is an influncing factor but my 40GB Fat PS3 with a Hitachi 250GB harddrive seems to run smoother and the menu load slightly quicker than my roommate with a 160GB Slim PS3 and my other roommate with a 500GB 20GB Fat PS3.
So maybe upg...
Just like the multiple SKU for the 360, DS, PS3, iPad, iPhones, iPods, etc.
Boy, that really halted the sales on many of those products from confusion.
Will it be subsidize with a data plan?
We don't know that. So far this story is one sided and it would be nice to know exactly how and what cheating they caught him for.
I remember when I was little, I dig up all sorts of way to cheat on games for fun. This kid could have done the same but denies it.
Preordered this since last year around July/August.
I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic here or something but PS3 is region free except for DLC content (which you can just get around by creating an account for that region) and Bluray (most Blurays are region free). All PS3 games are region.
Not only that but with DCUO a week prior and Mass Effect 2 with Dead Space 2 on it's way.
If anything, this is a good indication, LBP2 stand strong against competitions.
While I agree with not staying quiet, it would have been more effective and smarter for many of these gamers to have not purchase Black Ops in the first place. This will speak louder than any petition and protest can say.
I was smart enough not to buy into any CoD hype after 4. Some of my "friends" and friends of friends, I can't say the same about. Whenever a CoD game came out, most of them are on it while I'm playing whatever other game is release around that time.
Some of them go so far to convince themselves is a great game to justify the $60 purchase by talking trash about my decision such as choosing to wait and buy GT5 over Black Ops.
Dropping $60 is a...
If they are going to do a poor job/not even caring about the PS3 version, why make it at all? Paying for rights to get a game fix is wrong but all those people who bought CoD:BO should have expected this after the last few CoD.
Yes, the hardware is owned. I think it is okay if you run a FREE software of your choosing on the PS3 if you like but if you choose to use the PS3 OS, then you only own the license which you have to complied to ToA. Otherwise, Sony have the right to lock you out of their servers/services/games/apps.
When you buy a movie, you still don't have the right to add a few additional scene of your own, remove a scene, and then put it all over the web just because you bought the mo...
If they release a (preferably free) discount monthly subscription if you're a Plus subscriber, then I will jump on board.
So far, DCUO is sold out in almost all the stores around Buffalo.
I love unboxing video, the ones that are done well. Though some aren't too happy about unboxing and find them pointless.
If you are still interested, ME2 will be 44.5 at Kmart next week.
I'm sorry but his son doesn't know about spending money?
When I was 11, I sold hw to people who were too lazy to do their hw. I sold lunch tickets, I bought and sold cards. I was taught by my parents at an early age, money is not easy to come by and that things cost money. And seriously, I was taught what a $ stood for in third grade. I assume they teach the same in Kent around that age too. Has education slipped this far?
