I think this is a good experience for MS. Hopefully they learn from this.
That's what im saying if MS is behind on driver that means that the games are not running how they are supposed too. Why would they show an unpolished game? its logical. Im sure will get plenty of comparisons articles, the same way it was this generation so I wouldn't worry about that.
This is an article based on Edge article. DUPLICATE!
@MysticStrummer
what devs? Anonymous... I haven't seen any games from this devs.
The only real devs who said anything was talking about development speed. Im not saying PS4 is not more powerful. But lets talk with facts and not anonymous and please don't bring up any dev who isn't actually working on both consoles.
Its not strange at all, if you read all this articles around or even listen to this video, it is stated that MS is way behind with the XBO drivers more than Sony with PS4. That could be a pretty good reason why you haven't seen any multiplatform games running on XBO.
@ black0o
uh? could you please post a link stating this. I haven't read about this any where.
I don't think the problem is the PS4 been more powerful, but the claim that is a generation ahead. I'm a Xbox enthusiast (I do own a PS3 though) and i know for a fact the PS4 is more powerful, but by how much is the question?
agree, even if is 10%, it still more powerful. There is always going to be a most powerful console each generation and for this generetion is the PS4 even if it is for a small margin.
To be fair Need for Speed developer never said which of the consoles was the most powerful he just said there was one which surprisingly was better than they thought, so you are going by assumption. In the other hand People Can Fly are not working on any XBO game as far as i know so I would take their statement with a grain of salt.
Its incredible that you Are getting disagrees, its a fact game were running on real XBO consoles at Pax.
@shoddy
Im a Xbox fan and i do care about shoddy hardware.
@lifeisgamesok
Well Carmack said the consoles were similar but then he went on and say he haven't done any benchmarking. So how does he knows they are similar then?
"coupled with the repeated reports of Microsoft still not showing off launch games on their own console, "
this are the kind of statements which lead me to believe this websites are bias. How can they say this when they MS had games running on real consoles in Pax and Gamescom.
"while neither console is ready with perfectly tweaked drivers for their hardware, Microsoft has been lagging behind Sony with updates such that the experience between ...
I think (and this is my opinion) PS4 will be the gamers popular and XBO will eventually dominate the casual crowd.
@golding89
haha! You know you are gonna get destroyed for that.
I will +bubble you just for your bravery.
I don't think this "technical fellow" exist. That was one of Panello's tricks to get out of the hole he got into.
There's nothing else to say, on paper the PS4 is more powerful they cant argue that. Their games are looking good though. So i guess will have to wait and see.
My guess is if you are a graphic whore and don't have the money for a high end PC, PS4 is for you if you want a console with great graphics (not the best) which gives you other features than gaming go with XBO.
The funny thing is, when MS unveiled the XBO the were criticized because they weren't clear on their policies. Now that they are trying to be more open about it the same people criticize them for doing it.
it just getting ridiculous. I understand people have their references but this is getting childish, really... Sometimes I feel like I'm between a bunch of little kids having the "My dad is better than yours" argument.
I want the XBO how it is right now. But that would be excellent sales wise. i think a lot of people would buy XBO at launch.
double post :/
