and to be fair the controls are going to take some getting used to, controls nothing like gears (stupid comparison), the graphics are brilliant but the controls feel a little bit stiff, would be nice also if the player automatically changed weapons once he ran out of ammo, also the knife combat is all wrong, why not be able to use the knife same has with the gun by just selecting it from the menu and then having more freedom with it, using the knife was not much fun at all.

I played Code Veronica and RE4 and if RE5 is anywhere near the quailty of either of these titles I will be very happy, RE4 was class.
RPG's are great and all but with the online revolution we really need more MMO's on the consoles right now, otherwise it just feels like groundhog day, same stuff only better graphics, there is so much potencial for MMO's on consoles I am surprised they do not use it more.

Yes but you can use it whilst on live, so yes it is also a feature of live.
I played the demo on Xbox-360, didn't notice any framerate issues. What you have to understand about fear is that it is very story driven, you cannot judge this game on the demo alone, which i liked by the way, but you know the story and the atmosphere will be exellent, the multiplayer in the 1st was underated, definate purchase for me.

Xbox-live can broadcast you to the world. Free is nice but on PSN nobody hears your screams.

had Mario,Goldeneye, Zelda etc, clearly miles better graphics than the PS1 but still the PS1 sold more consoles, the situation with the PS3 and the Xbox-360 is slightly different though, the PS3 seems to know have the best looking console game in KZ2 but it is not consistent, e.g. if I bought a PS3 right now I would only buy the exclusives because overall the Multiplats on the Xbox-360 look better and nearly always look more vibrant, I mean Crysis on the PC is the best looking game full stop ...

Gears 2 looks better than RE5, RE5 is really good and I expect the final game will be brilliant but the controls and animation needed more work, both KZ2 and Gears 2 have better animation and some better graphical effects, different art direction yes and RE5 does look fantastic but the animations and controls let it down a tad, if we are going for the overall effect then RE5 falls short of gears and KZ.
