that shadow problem you talk about seems to be a HDMI issue, you can get rid of most shadow problems by using the VGA cable,GTAIV is a great example of this as is mass effect, since the 360 came out there have been major updates to the VGA option, you have all the same display options as you do with HDMI and it just looks smoother.
and all it did was make me happy to have a 360 and a PS3 (PS3 later), you can avoid the rubbish multiplats, but what I can say is that the 360 and the PS3 seem to do things very differently, the result is that even though 360 and PS3 are both nextgen HD consoles the games look unique enough per console to justify having both, I played Motorstorm in full HD and it looked really good, they both impress me to be honest.

both videos are the same, has somthing happended? I like the mind control element, the graphics look really crisp but the enviroments look a bit flat, but I love immersion in a game and that mind control stuff really caught my interest, I do think prototype looks nicer though.
I don't have a PS3 because I cannot afford one right now, family comes 1st, so do us a favour Sony just lower the price.
