By the time this system comes out, kids will be so lazy that they won't even want to play their games through anymore. Wait... That's where we already are...

Seriously speaking though, I expect that this system will have a on/off switch for the technology which would allow for casuals and core gamers alike to enjoy the same games. Super Mario Galaxy 2 getting too hard at a certain point in some level? Turn on the AI and watch for a few until you get by.

Not sure of c...

I still play it on occasion to this day. That game is a gem.

This study was done by researchers at Brigham Young University. Mormons are against many forms of entertainment that aren't family oriented. They aren't the only ones though. Religion in general seems to have it out for gaming. Seriously though, the study was done at BYU. Can anyone imagine any circumstance where their conclusion would be positive toward gaming? No. That church and University by extension are culture builders, and this is one of their tools to try and steer culture in the way...

That was impressive. Surely alot of work went into getting that right.

The Conduit is going to be great because it has the best control system available on a console shooter that has yet existed. Mad World looks like it will be awesome. Sin and Punishment as well. Personally I'm looking forward to Punch-out and Wii Sports resort/Wii motion plus. And if Monster Hunter 3 comes to the U.S. it will be a first day purchase. Keep in mind that Nintendo hasn't revealed a whole lot regarding their releases for this year yet. A Zelda game made from the ground up for Wii i...

This is a good looking game.

Didn't Sony recently announce something like 6 first party RPG's in development? If we're going to count DQ10 which won't be out until probably 2010, then why not count those?

Both ToS 2 and this new Tales game's combined development cost likely won't equal that of Vesperia or whatever game may be in development for PS3. Also, let's not forget that ToS 2 was likely meant to be a GC title, but slightly enhanced for Wii. Even still, there will be no Final Fantasy XIII or WKC on the Wii. So however starved PS3 gamers may be for deep, quality JRPG's, with exceptional effort and non-ridiculous art styles put into them, Wii gamers are far worse off. Translation? There's ...

So much for the rumored Kid Icarus Wii...

Hopefully Nintendo scoops up the bulk of these guys and gives them jobs. They knew the GC hardware very well, so it stands to reason that they could push the Wii.

This is very sad. I hope it doesn't become a trend.

I still play that game from time to time.

As for this game... It's early and those pics look rather poor quality, but my first impression is Yuck. Cartoony cell shading is the way to make the best looking Wii games it seems, and TMNT is perfect for such a style. Yet it looks like they are going to try and make it look realistic? Ugh...

The Wii version is lacking in features. World at War was initially detested by many CoD 4 gamers, but it's growing on them over time. Why? The Zombie mode is extremely fun. Can anyone give a single good reason why a mode like that was left out of the Wii version? Keep in mind, that's only one feature that was left out.

Many people look at World at War on Wii and think "Why should I?" The Conduit is coming out in a few months, and this game is gimped compared to the othe...

Little Nemo the Dream Master. That game was not only fun, but insanely challenging as well. Easily amongst the hardest unbroken games of all time.

You should make one of those with a Re-dead. :)

From an American standpoint (from which I think this guy is writing from), this is Pure B.S.

Sure the equivalent price of a console in 1990 was $330. However, since the 1990's worker productivity has risen by over 25%, yet when inflation is FULLY taken into account everyone (non-rich or upper-upper middle class people) makes less (from a buying power standpoint)than they did in the 1990's. Let's see... Working more hours, working harder, but the money doesn't go very far...

They ended up getting a decent number of zombies on screen at once that's for sure, but the game looks awfully PS2-ish. Hopefully it will be fun.

at the Christmas tree at the end. This game is gonna be some bloody, goof fun.

You're the parent. If your kids are playing a game excessively or get into it beyond reason, then take it away, tell them why, and ease restrictions on it over time if they learn the lesson and you see fit.

If that's what you are doing then great. But it seems as if you feel that some group should organize, and speak out against a game rather than parents take responsibility for what they allow their children to do, and to what extent they do it? That attitude is causing unneces...

Anyone else think that that beat sounds alot like the beat they used sometimes on "The Boondocks" when they were making fun of rap and the party atmosphere? Think of the Martin Luther King episode at the end.

I never made it to the final boss on Okami. The drawing controls are too inconsistent and it's not only frustrating, it gets you killed. Beautiful game though.
