Another aspect of the free market economy is exactly what people are doing with the boycott. They feel the price is unfair so they refuse to buy the product and want to influence others not to so that Activision will change. I'm not sure what you are getting at?
didn't even read it. :p
Absolutely amazing. Hopefully Nintendo signs these guys on and starts working on some cool stuff!
OVER 9000!!!!
lol Sorry, but someone had to say it.
1. People stay strong and faithful to their commitment not to buy, and don't break.
2. Spread the word like wildfire during online matches of CoD4 and WaW. Let the noobs know why they shouldn't buy MW2 as well. Let them know about better alternatives.
Legally voicing our displeasure, and explaining what's going on is well within our means through the very system we have in place already. That way no one is breaking the law or goes to jail. Gamers aren't painted as sc...

that this story is so popular but people seem ashamed to let others know they like Pokemon by commenting. Come on guys, it's not just for kids. Don't be embarrassed. :p
can you please fix the few spelling issues on the petition? We want the best chance possible of them taking it seriously.
apauling = appalling
"Than your CEO" = Then your CEO
wont = won't
Places that sell used games such as Game Stop tend to gouge too. They'll do so all the more if fewer people are buying it new and used copies are more rare. I don't think that's a solution unless one is simply satisfied with the fact that Activision doesn't get your money.
I won't until some minor fixes are made. If we want them to take it seriously we have to fix the spelling in those few instances where mistakes occur. Please don't see this as nitpicking. We just don't want to give them any reasons to laugh in our face right?

As the article says, agreements to boycott are only as good as the honor of those agreeing. People need to either toughen up, buckle down and not buy it, or bend over, take it, and stop complaining since that's their choice. The only reason companies have power to do this is because we give it to them. Take that power away by spending your money elsewhere.
The British pound is close to twice the value of the dollar so you're looking at closer to $10 extra rather than 5. And no it's not o.k. At least not without a voicing of displeasure. Otherwise it won't stop until we're down the ability to buy a game or two a year simply because of rising prices. F that.
I feel for you guys. You should revolt against this crap with your wallets.
I wonder if you've played it? Maybe 1/3 of the modes on there aren't worth playing often and a couple not at all, but I would have bought this game for the sword play, 3 point contest and table tennis alone to tell you the truth. It's that awesome.
Ghosts and Goblins was also an 80's arcade game. To this day, Super Ghouls and Ghosts is one of the precious few games that actually pissed me off enough to lose it for a moment and throw the controller in disgust.
"Well, if the games are that good I'll go ahead and bend over for it."
That's what the problem is. A business is going to make as much money as the market will allow them to. As for me personally, I'd stop buying new games altogether if games became even $100 as a standard. It would suck, but I have a crapload of games from a crapload of consoles over the years that would have to do until publishers put down the pipe. If we stand for such prices, even grudgingly so, we'...
What do they get out of acting like this? Unless somehow they somehow think they're asserting themselves as a juggernaut that just doesn't give a F. If that's the case then they are indeed crapping on us, and they won't be receiving any more of my money. There are alot of great games out there. It's not like MW is our only option.
That would have been just a tad harsh.
Some of those games go a bit too far in the difficulty dept. Especially since sometimes that difficulty was due to crappy controls. Even so, a much better balance can be struck.
is ever anything but a rip-off...
