You know, I'm rather frustrated with Nintendo right now too, and I agree that the friend codes, one analog stick, and limited game selection are issues, but achievements? Some people don't give a damn about achievements. Personally I'm of the opinion that if you have to have achievements in your game for it to have replay value, you've failed as a developer. What happened to the days when games kept people coming back solely because of concept and gameplay?

The Wii literally starved me for R.P.G.'s. I bought turn based Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn which was basically a Game Cube game, but I was fine with, and bought Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, which was about 1/4 as fun and excellent as the Original ToS. Games like Farewell Ruins of the Moon were just too weird...

Man, I haven't done that quest in a long time. The first time you see him though I know is in the rebuilt Luin. But it has to be at a certain point in the game.
Man... It's almost as if Nintendo is intentionally trying to piss people off, alienate people, and make themselves irrelevant in the minds of gamers. I don't give a crap about this version of Wii either, but there is now a consistent pattern of Nintendo not having much to offer, and offering even less to America. I'm a bit pissed off about Pokemon Rumble. I have very little interest in that type of Pokemon game, but apparently, if you want berries that are actually useful to use on Black and White (for which no items can be transferred over from earlier games), you'll have to get Rumble. Nintendo just keeps irritating and disappointing me with these tactics...

Xenoblade, that release date is for Europe only right? Other than Skyward Sword, and perhaps Super Mario 3D land, those are the only games that truly interest me on that list... Me too, more than I can express, but at this rate we'll be lucky if we just get Abyss it seems. Namco is Trolling us hard. Symphonia was the best selling Tales game in the West of any of their games, and I do believe their best seller over all.
Also I hope I'm wrong, but I kind of fear that with all of the CG cut scenes in Symphonia, there may not be enough room on the 2 gig 3DS cartridge. That game was on two GameCube discs... It's the only explanation that makes...

One thing that we Tales fans, and Namco alike don't really know for sure but need to know is, just how many expecting Tales gamers are there in the West? This is important in addition to the points of the article of continuing to create more fans, and educate some people that this is a series.
