It was my first time playing Lumines today. I really enjoyed the demo. The first song is very catchy. Not sure how much better the full version would be for me. I still need more practice.
Been up since last week.
No problem. I myself am buying the 3G version. It might be useful someday cause I don't have a smartphone, and the memory card is a nice bonus.
You would need a new device. For what it's being used for 3g speeds should suffice.
Just a heads up you will have to buy one month for $15, and then after one billing month (I think it's 28 days) you will receive a free month and Super Stardust.
So are you saying the 3ds touchscreen is worse than phones? That only makes the Vita look better.
LOGICWINS if you want to compare prices from a gaming device to a smartphone you should let people know the price of a smartphone.
A good new smartphone will cost you somewhere in the range of $500-$700, or you will have to buy a long-term contract. Even then your "discounted" phone will trap you into paying about $800 a year.
Regardless of what articles say, a smartphone is a more expensive commodity than a Vita.
That is the thing that is really hurting me when I read a review, cause I haven't played most of these ports. I have played MvC2, Hot Shots golf (PS2), and Wipeout. I have not played any Lumines, FIFA, Tennis, Blazblue, or Mortal Combat. There are only a few reviews that are useful in making a decision.
Vita also has the best launch day demos. Every shooter fan should download the Unit 13 demo. It will have leaderboards and your stats transfer over to the final game.
Can we at least get internet through the charge cord?
Yeah that's crazy. Surprisingly, the first to Vita games I'm getting are Ubisoft games (Rayman Origins and Luminies:ES).
Couldn't believe how smooth the demo ran. This game is going to be good. If you are against EA online passes and like futuristic shooters, support this game.
Thank you for this article! I might get Wild Arms cause I really enjoyed Wild Arms 3.
How do you crouch when you are not by cover?
almost certain this is on psn. it might still be a demo and the label is wrong. I will have to wait till tomorrow.
No interest in the game, but I might download for fun.
it was from yesterday morning.
The lack of online isn't it's biggest problem. It has framerate issues, you have to be online to save your hot lap, and even though the game is card based the load times are still 35 seconds. It also has poor touch screen menus.
That said I will probably get this since it's only $25. I may get Rayman cause it will be a better game, but I really wanted a kart racer.
I think the Vita lineup is the best I've seen.
Haven't been able to get in a game of Starhawk so I can't tell how the framerate is.
