Big fan of the 'wait and see' as well.
My personal thoughts on the subject say why would the series suddenly go exclusive after NEVER having been exclusive? As mentioned before, money is also a factor as distasteful as it seems. I don't see them cutting themselves off from what was a large source of revenue in the 360 and PC.
Imo CC was actually a far better game than CT, which some 'purist' fans consider blasphemy, I know.
What I do agree on is that at some point a Chrono game should continue the story of the Trigger characters or at least feature them in some way more than revenant spirits. The only solid morsel we get is that Lucca may have met a bad end and I think that drought of info short changes us fans.
If it happens, great. But I suppose I'll probably be waiting around just as l...
I rather liked the review of the maps. She knows her Halo multiplayer, apparently.
Would I buy Halo Wars just for the maps? Unlikely.
And yet Halo 3 still has one of the deepest, fully functional multiplayers I've ever seen on console so I can see the attraction.
Maybe because it's only on XBLA? Let's not jump on the bias train just yet.
No one's gonna think she's a hardcore gamer or anything, but this is just low-grade massage simulator. I don't think that's gonna require an expert touch (no pun intended). The Apple fangirlism ("I'd use it if Steve jobs made it") made me cringe a LOT.
Well halle-f*cking-lujah.
I threw this game aside due to the numerous freaking bugs that crop up. It's playable, but hardly so perfect a game that they don't need to support it.
Still the the official announcement leaves room for worry:
"We have discovered a problem within the PC version of Silent Hill: Homecoming, which affected the stability of the game when changing the screen resolution. The problem has been analyzed and we are confirming tha...
Yeah, I really agree with this. I'm not at all excusing the crime, but I'm surprised we bother to make the effort. With artists who glorify and actively participate in druggy, violent, and abusive lifestyles you'd think at some point someone who mattered would see the big picture that we're a bunch of hypocrites.
I have a lot of serious and probably controversial thoughts on subjects of this sort, but I don't think this is the place to discuss. So suffice it to say if it will ap...
Well, the writer is correct. Those are some pretty lame excuses.
Furthermore, while I understand mistrust of hype, I don't understand how you can fear being let down by it when the game is AVAILABLE. Just borrow a freaking copy and be done with it.
Summer? Great. :/
Luckily, I went for the console version because I've personally had the WORST support ever with Japan-made PC games. Just make sure you can patch the thing, Capcom. I don't want to be dealing with the same glitches months after release if I do buy it.
I was actually surprised to see them put any money whatsoever into advertising on television. At least R* is trying to treat the DLC like a full release. That's not going to make me abhor exclusive DLC any less, but I appreciate the gesture.
Pretty doubtful of the whole thing. I still think not too many console gamers know or care that Ensemble can make a great RTS.
Hope they do well though.
Such a braggadocios title. Good for MS, but really...we'll all feel quite silly once Japan goes back to buying the status quo.
I am actually surprised and pleased that SO boosted the box enough to outsell the other two at all. The series must be more popular in Japan than I thought.
Clinker's about the only person here who immediately bought into the article's speculative bull. Doesn't seem like anyone else did at the time of my posting. Or they just read the earlier comments.
Either way, that's an improvement over the N4G I'm used to dealing with so congrats!
The first one was surprisingly great. Far better than what I would expect from a typical film tie-in. It's basically an FPS with some good stealth and melee options. And you can do optional quests/objectives as well as purchase items with cigs. Pretty much nailed the prison atmosphere from the design to the voice acting. Good amount of depth.
Hopefully the second will be just as good. Although getting both games in one package is surely a step in the right direction.
Is this the same Dan(iel) Landis from Ripten?
Hardest bosses I've ever faced will all be from shmups like Giga Wing and M. Futari
PSP and Wii? That's an odd combo.
Although bringing up SH reminds me...why haven't they tried porting SH: The Arcade? Seems a perfect fit for the Wii.
Are we uppity because we have higher standards for our handhelds than portable flash games?
We don't want the moon, we just want Apple and Mac enthusiasts to back up their constant claims about the iPhone. These guys constantly talk it up as a gaming device on par with DS & PSP yet we see no actual depth beyond precious few titles like Fade/1112, Sim City, SW:TFU, I Love Katamari, and maybe Spore Origins. The overwhelming majority is made up of "addictive" puzzlers ...
I guess that was funny. Hope no one takes it too literally.
Should I just report all this PS3/360 nonsense as extremely off-topic?
