My fear is this situation will become a battle of which one has the higher failure rate and every failure report will be blown out of proportions as if it where an RRoD issue.
I doubt we will see another RRoD type failure rate with the PS4 or X1.
Being from the Philippines and seeing the disaster caused by the super typhoon. I can clearly say this is a none issue compared to that calamity.
No one realized it but the PS4 was designed this way so you can use it for morse code. Lol
But seriously, I agree if it doesn't cause any damage then no biggie.
Do you think they designed it this way for the vertical stand?
^But what if he was using a Mac instead? :p
Relax, it wouldn't be fun without someone going full retard from time to time. ^_^
@Deividas
I stand corrected but with all this next generation craziness going on, you can't blame some people from overheating. :)
To me all this madness actually means a positive outlook for the upcoming generation. :D
^The way the reviewers are scoring things right now. It seems this generation will showcase a lot more critically acclaimed games from the Indie side.
So if the trend continues, it doesn't seem to be a bad strategy.
Well the submission was hurt when the submitter mixed up the actual article from an old Neogaf post. So now there are still 2 reports that is claiming the article is Old when its no longer the case.
Zone of the Enders 3?
Shenmue? Yakuza?
Why, why... yes. YES PLEASE!
From my understanding the only region locked is the access to the PS Store.
So hopefully that is the sign that the VTV will be released world wide down the line.
Thanks for the report. The title and description has been updated to reflect the correct situation.
Before anyone jumps the gun. Just remember Jeff left Sony PS Blog about a year ago. So yeah, nice misleading title.
Edit: coolasj & Nivalis beat me to it. lol!
Well as its stands right now there isn't enough hardware sales for the devs/pubs to even localize games for the system. The VTV with its price range could re-vitalize the system and answer the call of the gamers who wants to connect the Vita to their TV.
Its also seems to be the system that Sony will push first in China and try to enter the market over there. Not sure how that will play out on a country that pirates almost everything but at this point Sony has nothing to ...
Not sure if the handheld alone can succeed like we want it to but I do believe the Vita TV can make good head way for the device, if Sony does plan to sell it world wide.
Shu is heartless, I tell ya.
He just killed the hope of all the people who are grasping on straws ;)
Lies, you just said you have friends at Sony's! ;)
But on a serious note every multiplayer online game or service provider has that under thier ToS and just like people have been saying before even social media such as Facebook and Twitter has this sort of stuff. So as long as you don't do anything illegal (I mean the serious kind) you can give them a moon shine everyday.
Toukiden will also be dropping by next year and yes I agree, Gravity Rush and Soul Sacrifice should be there.
That would be sweet, especially for ToD2. They also owe us Tales of Rebirth
B2S wasn't crap but it was clearly not Heavy Rain level. They just water downed the game play too much in B2S. It killed the thrill the game.
Edit: I would be disappointed if its only a port of Heavy Rain they are planning to announce and be surprise if its Heavy Rain 2 (which is unlikely as stated by Cage before)
