Sounds like Nvidia is advertising their wares to Sony and MS to power their next gen consoles.
But I still believe to this day that the turn base system in FFX was one of the best I've ever played. It was fast and it didn't turn away from its old school roots.
Now release FFXIIIVs, remake FFVII, develop KH3 and Fire Wada! :)
I thank God I was able to buy Ar Tonelico Qoga for $60 and Hyperdimensional Neptunia for $50. lol!

I think they are talking about in-house developers but if this report is true then Sony's micro-managing did actually something positive because we got Uncharted in the end. :)

I don't think MS is neglecting Lost Odyssey its just their contract with Mistwalker has ended and now Mistwalker is developing games for Nintendo and isn't there an Alan Wake spin-off being made for Xbox Live? So I doubt MS is neglecting that series too.

I think its not that easy to make an emotional game. Some games actually try too hard and fail miserably and some creators don't want to sacrifice too much game play for a good story not everyone can do a great balancing act.
But that said I think the author needs to play more RPGs. lol!
Valkyria Chronicles, Lost Odyssey, FFVII: Crisis Core are just some of the emotional RPG games this generation.
