I have faith in Level-5 that they will localize this baby for us :3
Level-5~!
Please localize this and take my cold hard earned money~ :D
I love games like these, they just gives you a different feel :3
I didn't expect it either, I always believed that gamers are more mature when it comes to subject like these since our single passion/hobby unites us (gaming) no matter our beliefs. I guess not everyone has the same views... my fault for being naive there. ^^;;
Also a funny thing about that video. It was like recorded on July 2011. So it ain't exactly "news" either.
It doesn't mean we have not seen or discussed this before.
This subject has been raised over and over again from the shows we watch (Movies, TV) to the things we read (Books, Comics). Not because you can play the part in a virtual world doesn't mean its more influential than other mediums that came before it.
I believe it all comes down to proper supervision to make sure the younger audience understand that this is all fiction and should not be done i...
I remember the time that my conservative family thought gaming was made by the devil that it was made to ruin the hearts and minds of the younger generation. lol!
But I didn't mind I kept on playing. It didn't ruin my faith, it didn't ruin my relationship with my family and it certainly didn't ruin my outlook in life.
Along the way I came to respect and listen to the opinionated but educated and debated the ignorant, there will always be hater...
I will have my cold hard earned cash ready once this baby is out next year.
You may bring Xillia, Vesoeria (PS3 ver) and Innocent R (PSV ver) as well and you will be taking more of that paper that is printed by the banks from me :)
Yeah I don't think you can have things like that localized. Wasn't the AxA a image type mini game?
And I think one song was also not included due to licensing.
There is a reason why gaming journalism is considered unprofessional most of the times.
I mean when did advertising a sponsor in a game ad or in a game was such a bad thing?
I think who ever wrote this article needs to study business 101 to understand that having a sponsor no matter the medium (TV, Movie, Book, Website etc...) is mostly a good thing for the consumers.
Looks like someone is not a gamer around here because I just see someone disagreeing with you there. lol! XD
@Quagmire
Its only a metaphor there is no need to put any unnecessary spin into it.
Y3 was the one that cut the hottest club and some other side quest like the couple Kazuma has always been encountering since Y1.
I believe Y4 had everything intact since the guide I used online was a Japanese wiki one and I did not seem to miss any side quest.
The hottest club was there along with the new apprentice training side quest. Even the Kappa quest was there too.
And they shall have my cold hard earned cash once the game is released next month :)
Most of the JRPGs went to the dedicated handheld gaming devices (PSP & DS) since the Japanese have became handheld centric the developers thought they can make huge money by putting most of the JRPGs there and not on the consoles.
While some did succeed, others just congested the market with sub par games.
And bring Xillia, Vesperia (PS3) and Innocent R (PSV) over as well and you will be taking more of my money!!!
From the article:
"Instead of cutscenes, there are now dialogue trees. Instead of airships, there are now fast travel stations. Instead of job classes and teams of four, there are now hidden followers with their own agendas who you don't ever even have to meet. Instead of Chocobos and slimes, there are now molerats and mounts."
Maybe having more in-game cutscenes than pure cutscenes I can understand but everything else that is said there. I don&...
All I can say is once 11/01/11 comes, all those detractors will be proven wrong. ;)
In my experience even on MMO's the majority of players will exploit a bug rather than report it. That's not to say there aren't players who will report the bugs (bless their souls) but you know how it is.
When I saw NIS, Atlus and Thatgamecompany on the list. It put a smile on my face.
I feel Level-5 should be an honorable mention too.
Yeah same here, I enjoyed it when I was a kid. Now that I'm a grown up, my mission is to have my younger siblings watch it and be horrified on how bad it is. lol! XD
Then again they will probably enjoy like I did when I was their age. ^_^
Not only that but Apple rejected the Kinect technology while Nintendo was the first one to implement a device that features full motion controls with the Wii.
I mean Steve Jobs influenced a lot of things with his innovation and his ideas, I will give him that but saying he saved Nintendo? That's just absurd.
Being influenced by something does not equate to saving it. Nintendo saved themselves and that's a fact.
The problem is there wasn't even a hacking attempt made. My suggestion is try to read the article and not just the headline to get the full detail of things.
Unless of course your talking about people legally making an account on PSN when you said "what is about PSN that is so much easier for the folks to get into?" then I stand corrected.
