Another article stating what Kinect MIGHT or COULD be used for. Everyone is starting to get desperate. What is with all these sites begging and pleading to look at the Kinect differently? Most of us can already see what it is.
I don't see why it should be a problem. If you make a proper female or interacial hero I have no problem with that. It doesn't make them less relatable at all. I don't necessarily need to be the character's race or gender to understand their feelings or relationships. The idiotic stereotypes need to go. Gaming needs to evolve instead of sticking to the same characters, plot and storyline all the time. I have lost count how many big dumb marines and space marines there are.

Just show us. Proof please. I am tired of listening to what Kinect could or might do. If it takes for example 2 years to fix the lag,who is going to wait while they fumble around trying to make it work right? Besides, everyone talks as if lag is the only problem Kinect has and fixing it will fix everything. Why the eagerness to save Kinect and its crappy simple minded retro games?
Oh yeah. Almost forgot about the gladiator battles. They look like they could be engaging. Maybe I should pick this one up first. Been trying to decide what game to buy first for my first Move experience. You know if Sony can get Lucas Arts to make a game with one on one battles with a light saber in you hand they would make a mint.
If you are a mindless sheep of an idiot who will play anything, nothing at all. But if you are a sensible person, story gives the game meaning and depth instead of a whole bunch of 'characters' standing around taking about things you don't care about. Not to bust anyone's bubble or anything but this sounds fishy to me?. Why would Microsoft personally give anyone the Kinect and risk another sale killing incident. Demos for games are one thing but unfinished hardware that probably isn't product tested or anything. Shouldn't this be done closer to the release so everyone can play the near finished version? Whatever. Kinect was a bad idea from the start. It's not worth defending or kicking up a fuss about. Microsoft knows nothing about casual gaming. They think casual gaming is just mindnumbing simplicity but it just proves their ignorance.
