I've always been a fan of Roman history and I love warrior movies like 300 so maybe I'm a tad bit bias but I can already tell I'm going to love this game
It being on the Xbox One along with one of my games of all time Gears of War makes it more appealing (I know Gears hasn't been announced yet but it will eventually)
And how could you not adore those textures and high polygon counts

These are two different games. I don't see one thing in this game that makes me think Kratos and huge screen filling boss battle. The only thing they really have in common is the mythology part and even then they're still different
With that being said Ryse is looking to be a fantastic game on it's own and the real time damage, character models, grass, water, fire and overall game looks next gen. The gameplay looks fun as well
The background effects the rain, birds, tornado and lighting add a very nice touch. The combos and particle effects look good too. Hopefully they'll be more sequels to Killer Instinct in the future

A lot of the little things make this game so great as well like being able to get into your Titan from above or sliding into it and it picks you up. You can make it follow you and destroy other Titans. You can even destroy it and send it to a group of enemies to blow up

More than 200 weapons, a lot of costumes, vehicles, zombie types, tons of missions, and it looks great going to be playing this for a long time
Obviously Killzone is gonna sell more being the only standout game on Ps4 lol
Forza, Ryse, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Fighter Within (great graphics and moves for casuals and some hardcore fight fans)
Then 2014: Quantum Break, Black Tusk's game, Fable Legends, Halo 5, Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, D4, Project Spark with the other projects that haven't been announced yet :)
Honestly this game looks good I'd try it out. The fighting moves look good and the graphics are impressive

I think it's funny people criticize the realism in the combat. This is a man carrying metal armor a heavy shield and sword. He's not supposed to be moving at the speed of light or flopping around like he's 80 pounds
Crytek is going for more realistic animation. Do you think you know more about Roman combat than the expert they hired in the video?

Killzone looks way more boring than this. How many gameplay elements does Killzone have. I've only seen shooting n throwing bombs which every 1st person has

Ryse has 100 executions environmental and co op, real time damage to enemies, real time destruction, next gen graphics
That sounds a lot more fun than Killzone
Wrong *subjective* many people that have played Ryse at Gamescom and Pax had good things to say about it. It's mostly Sony's children that are saying negative things
Titanfall has seemingly addictive multiplayer with a campaign like story along with different classes for pilots and mechs and areas of the map that benefit both
It really does seem like the best 1st person shooter already
The expert says even if you try to hit minimal you can't so worse case is 140 gps which the difference on screen won't do much for the naked eye
And this is before the co processors and what optimization AMD made to the units
