I'd hate to see censorship arise. That would hurt the entire videogame industry.
Gamer Rage kills kittens:

The fact that she stated she was a reason he was demoted in a Guild (something many gamers take way too seriously in WoW) she had every right to feel worried about him showing up.
I doubt that anything more than a shouting match would have happened but it doesn't hurt to be cautious. If I showed up at your door right now screaming this at you, you wouldn't really welcome it would you?
I didn't see much of a point to the heavy Feminist finish but that was an interesting read. It was like 'The Guild' gone sour.
Quite a stupid video and I somewhat feel sorry for the kid despite having to deal with people like him all the time. I'll admit that I laughed when the sister slapped him though.
You missed alot:
Noob Tubes, Bad Respawns, Back Rapes, Side Rapes, Multi-Rapes, Random Grenades, Random Throwing Knifes (really lucky people), Lag, Host Advantage and Little Kids Screaming...
Or "Farcry 2"?
Sony would probably do the same especially now that they are bringing in Premium features. Big companies & franchises didn't get where they were by being generous. Only when it can serve a purpose will they provide something for free.
I don't agree with Microsoft but I can also see why they wouldn't include it for no cost. Microsoft would have to upload and maintain the service through Xbox Live. Without making any extra money from that service they would be losing out on money.
Business is business.
People who own an Xbox 360 and have Xbox Live...
That was a great article but I don't entirely agree with using gaming as a way of dealing with issues in the real world. For me videogames have always been about escapism, being someone else, living a different life and having fun.
I don't really want to play a videogame and experience or deal with problems that I could see on the news because then what would be the point of having that game? I'm not saying that it would be a terrible idea and it may help in some ...
Six is an even number :) . I do agree that the usual x out of ten would be a step up, no score at all would be even better.
really walked into that one.
I didn't even have to look...
Didn't stop me though <.< >.>
Lets not start fanboy wars, its a close second to the trollbaits as being the most annoying thing on N4G. We are a community of gamers, does it really matter what consoles people play on? No.
No but you did have the help boxes o.o . And in all fairness Mario didn't really have a complicated control scheme. Sprint, Jump, Duck.
Has anyone recently got out the PS1 or even older consoles and played one of "the best games ever". Most of the time this thought will be crushed no matter how much you deny it.
If someone mentions Final Fantasy for an old console as some defense I will just explode...
Simple yet effective. I'll keep that in mind next time I write something...
Although I agree that some game developers focus way too much on graphics rather than gameplay a good amount are starting to find that perfect balance. I hate to use such a cliché but the Mass Effect series is a prime example of this. Even Modern Warfare 2 had an intriguing and thrilling campaign which delivered a good amount of immersion allowing players to connect with the world.
I think those first games will always hold a special place in gamer’s hearts simply becaus...
I have a friend who actually whacked his T.V. and all of the colour messed up. Looks like a huge magnet has been placed in the middle of it now.
