Most likely, but with there being all the big gaming companies cashing in on the casual market it's unsure who'll come out on top.
I've never tried any NHL games. Maybe I'll give this one a try.
PC's aren't better for FPS' just easier to use.
I'm in a similar position with my Laptop.
The way I see it regarding cost is that its all situational. If you know how and what needs doing to assemble a powerful gaming rig then PC gaming could be a great choice. For me however, simplicity wins everytime.
Your right about my slip-up with the title and closing paragraphs. But hey, can't a guy have conflicting views on a matter?
Your car analogy is a great one. But with complexity often comes an extra cost. I know that PC's are a heck of a lot more versatile than Consoles but I don't want the extra hassle that comes with them. I'm fine with a Honda Civic, it gets me from A to B.
"I'd rather take the extra fifteen seconds to look through ...
Is that aimed at Console or PC? Either way a variety can be found on both.
I haven't played the demo yet, I'll be sure to check it out.
they quit after a few months but always end up playing again.
Interesting read.
I never saw this, I do wish that it made it though; looks pretty sweet. Is it me, or does the Battle Rifle seem more like the DMR featured in the upcoming Reach?
I almost included the Spec Ops. and Overtime Mode as a whole in the list. Those guys took way too many bullets to kill and their inclusion meant that hardly any Zombies were to be seen. For a Zombie-based game I found myself asking "what's the point of that?"
I liked the sense of urgency that the timer gave but there didn't seem like there was enough time to have fun doing random things as well as complete all of the missions in time.
Even i...
I once gave a Survivor a Shotgun and he was still somehow scared of moving... If I had a Shotgun I'd be running towards the damn Zombies.
The save system made no sense at all. You take a leak to save the game? It seems completely out of place.
I always wanted to play Shadow Complex but I never really got around to it. I usually spend all of my money on the big games as opposed to Arcade ones.
The whole point of having an outburst is that you don't really think before acting. Like I said I've always had a handle on my Gamer Rage and this was a surprise to me. I don't throw a controller at the wall every time I die on a game.
It is never the deaths themselves that annoy me but usually the way in which I am killed. If you noticed all of the deaths which happened in the game were just pure luck. A guy firing a random Noob Tube which lands right on me, then a guy getting to spawn kill me multiple times. I couldn’t avoid a single one of those deaths.
Playing an FPS game shouldn’t be down to luck yet it often is. This is what annoys me.
Halo: ODST was a disappointment for me. That game was too short and had no where near as much action as the other Halo titles. Although the whole "experiencing the war from a normal soldier's perspective" crap that they churned out before release sounded good it made for a boring game in comparison to other Halo titles.
I want to play a super-soldier that kicks ass and can hold two guns at once.
The best evidence of this is the pretty huge sales of Halo Wars. Most people bought that simply because it was a Halo title not for the RTS gameplay.
I still play Halo Wars online a lot and the population dropped pretty quickly once the fan boys realised they don't actually like RTS'.
The chance to avoid hardware 'walls' when it comes to playing games is the biggest selling point for OnLive.
