The Hunter series was great fun back on the Xbox. It may feel slightly outdated now its definately worth playing.
Its all fine saying that some of the Final Fantasy games are good its the fact that so many have been a hit and miss. And when I say many I really do mean it, the amount of FF games released is pretty damn stupid.
Take a look at the Resident Evil franchise, not every game has been perfect but most have kept' up to date with the current gaming trends and adapted into new genres that are still entertaining.
CoD is certainly beginning to get stale, or rather already is. They're not exactly bad games considering how easy it is to spend countless hours playing them. The amount of stress generated in those hours is another topic entirely.
I still think the Wii is a pretty weak system, the games aren't generally on par with what is released on other consoles but it can occasionally squeeze out an enjoyable game; that game usual involves Mario.
Pretty much how I feel.
I've never really looked for a narrative in most strategy games, I've just come to accept that Army A must wipe out Armies B and C. Some RTS' do have a great storyline, a recent example being Starcraft II.
That was a great read and a good pick of games from that time.
Not the most thrilling game but it manages to eat up some spare time.
I loved the first Fable but the second one was what threw me off of the franchise. Something about it just didn't seem.. right.
I've never tried my hand at EVE, space games, if you want to call them that, have never really appealed to me.
It'd need to include more than just mass Starcraft games :) .
Aren't kings of sport and such born out of competition? If so wouldn't the closest thing to a 'gaming king' be tournament champions and the like?
Pretty interesting take, never thought I’d see this opinion anytime soon.
I think the games industry is generally just slightly sexist, thats not shocking since I’d say over 80% of people working in the industry are male. Thats starting to change however.
And I thought my gaming rage was bad.
I've recently got a computer upgrade so I've got some catching up to do with some of the exclusives. Once I actually manage to pull myself off of Starcraft II that is :) .
I can't bring myself to commit time and money into what seems like the new wave of casual games. I prefer games that involve a little more depth than flailing my arms around so that I can hit some rubber balls.
I'm not an idiot, it was just a joke.
You could look at it as being combat training.. with respawns.
PS3 fans sure are dedicated...
I lost touch with the Pokemon franchise years ago. I just can't bring myself to play what is basically the same game with a few extra Pokemon.
