Just like when the Quake Live beta started, it wasn't uncommon to wait an hour to start playing, then you never wanted to leave. It's on computer! Surf the internet or something for an hour. It'll be okay.
I still LOVE the very, very first PlayStation controller, the one packaged with the original SKUs. It's like they actually engineered a controller to fit into your hands in a comfortable position. What a concept. Now I won't get carpal tunnel while gaming (for once).
Where all the white women at?
I read a quote somewhere, went something like this:
Harmonix is full of musicians, Activision is full of businessmen.
So true.
That's still only 2.2% of all the words in the English language... But seeing as how most people only use about 10,000 words in daily life, that's not too shabby.
... I see what you're doing! Pretty sneaky. :P
But I have to agree. With the great game part, at least. :D
I like how "game freezing and controller issues" are "minor issues," like our system locking up and our controllers not being recognized are just simple, ignorable glitches. Having a functional system is kind of important, especially when you're already in third place, Sony.
Hard games are scary! But free hard games... are always worth checking out at least once. Just don't give up! We're here for you.
Even getting just the few he mentioned will cost you a month's rent. :P Is the Slim PS1 and PS2 compatible? Hope so, I want one. Still, if a game has a multiplatform release I'll still get it on 360 because of achievements, and many others will do the same...
Oh snap, Bucky O'Hare! But I L-O-V-E-D Jazz Jackrabbit. When will they bring him back on XBLA or PSN?! Do it now!
No Ico ending? :(
His recent COMMERCIAL down (Psychonauts) is on many gamers' Favorite Games Ever lists... it's just too bad that so many people ignored it at retail when it was actually really great.
But PSN DOES get the interesting, innovative games that the shooter-centric XBLA won't touch (except in the Indie Games section). Flower, Noby Noby Boy, fl0w, Echocrome, etc. Weird stuff, but also soooo cool and unique.
As soon as I got that horse, the cutscene made Oblivion glitch out and he disappeared into a tree. Oh well, back to my lame, slow white horse. :( Way to playtest, Bethesda.
I liked "The Ballad of Man Loving Tony." So politically correct! :D
Just because everything Schafer touches turns to gold doesn't mean that he can save the game from Jack Black. Typecast much, Jack?
I should make ten and sell 'em on eBay. I'd make a killing with the nerdcores.
You can tell me! I'd believe you.
At least it's better than Ubisoft's Batman game from a few years ago... but it'll still have to be pretty amazing to be a greater achievement than Batman on the original NES.
Print journalism may be dying, but that doesn't mean that we can't have game magazine zombies! EGM had some good articles back in the day, and you can never have too much video game news. I'll probably be subscribing for the first time, even though I got all the news on the Internet first. Pages are shiny!
No jokes! This isn't N4G! Aion is a serious game full of serious people. They shouldn't even call it a game anymore, since the point is obviously to not have fun.
They should call it "Communism: The Experience!"
