I think the halo remake is the best ive seen yet. Seriously for all the ps2 remasters all we get is a higher resolution, no new engine, new graphics or anything. With a game like sotc and ico i dont want it because it doesnt need it but games like sly, gow, mgs i think they do need a remake not remaster. Imagine all mgs games on mgs4 engine with those graphics or gow on gow3 engine holy cow! I dont want to start some shi* but sony's remasters and psp remasters smell of a shi**y cash grab....

Casuals dont usually buy new tech right away its hardcore gamers who are buying it. The high price is why casuals ARN"T buying it, if they were sales would be higher. They paved the way with online and an arcade/dlc/indy store. I think the 360 did inspire the ps3 to get arcade games and minis. I think this is what he meant, the 360 supported small dev's and indy dev's and now sony is starting to fund more small and indy dev. You dont have to like the 360 but the fact is that ms did a great job in making dd and online a requirement for consoles. They really opened the 360 up to indy dev's with the xna programs and whatnot.
Eh the more cutscenes the better imo. I love great stories like mgs3, lost odyssey, ffx exc. This games looking really great, i think its going to blow lots of people away. ID hasnt made a game in a while so new gamers dont realize how amazing their games (usually) are. UM the ps 3dtv cant output 3d to different people. It can do full screen NON-3d to different people but not 3d.
Na get a 3d projector or a 32-42in 3dtv for 500, this is WAY expensive and WAY too small.

Ms prob help publish it and build hype for summer arcade sales in exchange they get a year exclusive. These developers cant afford to launch on all systems so they go with the one with the best market, xbla. Shoot im getting a 3ds at that price i was waiting for either a price drop or lite model. I think it will sell amazingly now. My bro has one and the 3d isnt a gimick it really works well on handhelds, the games look and play better. Zelda was crazy good along with ssf4. A 7 is still a great game 9 is amost perfect like zelda oot for example. People hand out perfect scres too often. I havnt played it except the demo but i love it, still its HIS opinion. Im getting it whether it got all 5's across the board, people put too much stock in reviews and get mad at 7's and 8's. Idk i played crysis 2 on my 360 and i think it was was way better looking than kz3. It was open compared to linear, had better lighting, less bugs exc. I still loved kz3 especially the jungle level but crysis 2 was far superior. I had to stop playing and just look at the trees and lighting like holy shi* this is on the 360!
Yea ps3 and 360 go blow for blow. Ones better at some things the other at other things. The biggest difference is the size of games which is mainly important for prerendered videos. Theres a difference between bieng fully maxed and bieng outdated. Yea i guess games need online these days but i MUCH prefer couch co-op and its usually the deciding factor in most arcade games i buy. This, dead block, and scott pilgrim were all offline but are fun as hell not because of multi but because of couch co-op imo. Some games just lend themselves to a social fun experience although idk why the heck they wouldnt just add it anyways to sell more???? Still a worthy $10 game.
I do think they needed a vita that works like the psp go. That was biggest improvement ever made to the psp imo. Wow lot of bandwagon haterz here. Cod black ops has good graphics people. Maybe i played a different version that looked great on my 360 and 46in hdtv. Sure theres some games that look better but this is still a damn fine looking game. Bad graphics are games like risen on 360 or cod on the wii, this is fine and it runs at 60fps. Yes i want to have a prequel game about the the prometheans. I know part one covered what happened (uncovering the story was the best part of the whole series) but it was so interesting and deserves to be told in full. There are so many sidestories to be told.
