@ gameonbro: this is only a producer of the PS4 units and not Sony. Besides I don't see you caring about the sweatshop behind your purchases at any store you visit. Check the barcode on your items that you purchase. If the first three numbers are not between 003 to 009 then it was made in a sweat shop.

For me I rely on digital day one releases from now on. I don't want a disc anymore. Seriously you save 5 bux on taxes and you save an extra X ammount on gas to get there. Plus half the time you get the opened "new" version of the game... And for me.... I just enjoy downloading games from now on with my 2TB drive.

Let this be a lesson to all future console releases... Generating hype with a stupid cheap trick like this will only leave a sour taste in people's mouths. Especially when they pre order there's and never get their "day one" edition on day one.
If you are going to do a day 1 release special "acquisition" for merit points... make sure you have 5 million units plus ready to go at MINIMUM.

I'm a pro gamer who chooses the PlayStation controller design for every game type. Pro gamers play ALL games. Pro gamers do not play only shooters. Only noobs with less pubes would ever make such a statement.
PlayStation made the right choice.
The transition from ps1 to ps2 meant a lot because there are so many games that people still wanted to play whilist making the switch. But the transition from ps2 to PS3 was.... Not as important. At least in my circle no one really cared. We all made the switch easily. Now.... I can't finish my games but at the same time I don't want to play them anymore. I will just keep my PS3 in a box somewhere until I want to play those old games.
Doesn't matter to me. I'll be playing TLOU for a while anyway. Interrogation anyone?
Too many games coming out even now for ps3. It really makes it hard to save for the ps4 when all the late dead ringers have suddenly come about.
