Last Guardian! Dang, forgot that one! Looking forward to that, too. How could I forget it?
Last year's wasn't too bad with Metroid: Other M and Super Mario Galaxy 2, but still had stuff like the Vitality Sensor. And 2008 was one of the worst shows they've ever had. Ick.
I'm looking forward to this one... as you can probably tell! ;)
Yep, totally agree. Still my favourite game of all time.
I love all three of them unconditionally, and can see how you can consider 3 the best. The Cradle alone makes it worth it.
Still, only including two games in the series and missing out the key Thief II chapter? That's ridiculous, especially as the Thief Trilogy was just re-released recently. If this was all three I'd snap it up, otherwise - no sale.
An exceptionally obvious list with no surprises whatsoever, except that they missed out the 'from' in From Russia With Love.
Interesting article, and mentioning both Realms of the Haunting and Clive Barker's Undying gets it a thumbs-up instantly.
They've patched it up so this is no longer in the shoddy state it was when it was released. Might have even got it too... if it wasn't THIRTY F***ING GIGABYTES.
It is in Europe for some reason, but it's out in the US in June the following week.
Alpha Protocol. Well, not for the US anyway. :)
And yes, as DaysUntold said, several of those are on PC too.
No PC mention? Shame! But still some spectacular games in there.
Love this guy. He does good podcast.
One quibble: stop mentioning Metal Gear Solid. They're completely different games.
I actually preferred World At War to Modern Warfare 2, it just seemed a bit more real to me - and, conversely, wasn't afraid to have a sense of fun, like the Nazi Zombies mode! Looking forward to this... just don't bump the price up please Activision.
You suggesting publishers might start supporting the PSP in the future? That's madness!
Wait, Red Alert? Red Alert's on the iPad? Excellent! Shame I'm not getting the overpriced inherently-droppable iPhone XL, but if I was, I'd totally buy that!
Now why the hell isn't it on DS EA? Surely it's a natural fit?
I am calling bulls*** on this. How is it NOT DRM-related? They can't get on because they have to sign into the Ubisoft server, and they only have to sign into the Ubisoft server because of the stupid DRM!!
DRM stands for Digital Rights Management and has really become the shorthand for internet-based anti-piracy software. Any games with DRM can't be sold online because they get tied to some sort of account. Generally it's not too bad, but Ubisoft's new system requires you to be online all the time so they can check up on you constantly, and they manage your saves.
If your internet goes down, you can't play your games. Most importantly though, as this news and several other incide...
Yep. "Especially common in Australia" but certainly affecting everyone else in the world too.
In short: their system is broken and they won't admit it.
You know, I actually wrote 'affecting' the first time and changed it because I thought it looked wrong. Oh well.
Don't you think that would make a nice twist then? Plus, I want to see a nuke-blasted Earth! Y'know, outside Fallout.
