Scores are stupid. Maybe reviewers should try giving their opinions without scores, since it's obvious the system is flawed.
It's weird how dead systems are looked upon fondly, while current fanboys are all about "slaughtering" the competition verbally. Would the DC be so kindly looked upon had it lasted longer and given the PS2 actual competition? I wonder...
Tell me... how does MS, Sony, or Nintendo "winning" or "losing" affect you? How does the PS3, 360, or Wii being profitable affect you?

I don't see that happening either frankly. There was what, about a 90 million unit gap? I see all 3 systems holding pretty equal shares of the pie by the end of this gen with Wii probably still in the lead. Hopefully this gen is the longest ever (and still has a while to go).

Even Gears and Halo were at one time the new guys on the field. I look forward to new franchises and the surprises in store. If being in "third place" had any effect on the quality of titles that the PS3 has had thus far, then I'd care... thankfully, as with the 360, it has an amazing software lineup. It could be in 25th for all I care.

I'd love to see it. The animation in UC2 and GoW3 are quite impressive. To see that level of quality in an FPS engine would be boss.
I have a ton of respect for Bungie, even though Halo isn't my thing, they care about their community. I would really love to see what they could do with a new IP/Genre personally.
While the article is NOT about Senshi's argument, he brings up a good point. There IS a lack of consistency abound in gaming reviews. That has nothing to do with opinion. If one game has a higher resolution than another version of it on a different system, that's just a fact. Sure, how much it bothers you is up to opinion, but the fact that exists, and thus influences only SOME reviews, is a bit BS.

His comments about Kratos and Pandora I don't agree with. While their relationship is poorly developed and held for too late in the game, it's hardly a turn around for Kratos. Anyone who has played Chains of Olympus, or GoW1 and 2 for that matter, would realize that he sees his daughter in Pandora. His daughter, that he was almost willing to sacrifice the pillar of the world for in CoO. He may be a jerk, but his family comes first to him.
