Looking at the sales figures and the support Halo has its difficult to say its overhyped without looking a little bit butthurt.
I'm in the UK and I'm holding off for the proper price drop.
Now I know Gears won't be on the PS4 i'll need an X1.
But there is no rush.

20 years ago we made do with 1mb floppies.
30 years ago 48k cassettes were all the rage.
Not yet they are not.
I'm going to buy one after E3 when they panic and reduce the price to £299
I got my PS4 on launch day.
Still haven't bought a single game for it. (I don't even know if the Bluray drive works!)
I've been playing War Thunder, Warframe, Resogun, Outlast etc.
I managed 20 mins of Far Cry on the Xbox.
Then gave it to a friend.
Sleep is the only cure for me.
Even 10 mins is enough to press the reset button in my head.
In so hyped for all the lovely 60fps game my PS4 will give me.
I feel your pain.
Same happens to me.
FPS games with low frame rate even do it to me.
That's one reason I opted for the PS4.
They'd upgrade it every year.
It would be like owning a PC. No thanks
