facts like "On paper the PlayStation 3 offers by far and away the superior online experience in the console market" and "Unfortunately a large part of what’s wrong comes down to design. Despite being clunky and ugly, the Xbox 360 dashboard and user interface is still warm and accepting, as well as easy to navigate." really aren't flamebait.
No mention of the fact that PSN users span 3 platforms and there's no limit to the number of accounts any one user can ha...

how they're gonna do the multiplayer. Now that the gameplay's shifted to a more fast paced more action oriented. It seems like there's a lot more shooting from sam's pov, I wonder how that will affect the spy gameplay in multiplayer.
He's getting disagrees because for the price it would cost you to upgrade your computer and make it worth it (if it couldn't play it yet) you'd probably be able to buy at least an arcade 360 for a similar price.
it doesn't carry 10 gigs a second for HD video/sound. If it did you'd only be able to watch a 5 second movie.
And it's not like they won't buy more servers if more people buy it.
it's a great deal if you want a blu-ray player. If you don't really care about upgrading formats, then I'd say the price gap widens enough to make it more debatable
The "extra gold features" is being able to play games.
Blackberries are pretty cheap now dude. My friend just got a pearl for $50
what would be the point of XBL gold then?

They kinda screwed the pooch with all the extras they had. They could have easily released with a pricepoint close to $100 less on at least one model if they stripped it down to start with.
That's why I think M$ picked the better business model. Get a standard unit that's cheap to produce, and expand on it with extras. I don't agree with their pricing on extras, but their business model for the 360 was good.
they just forgot.
I mean games get developed for years at a time. They more than likely only heard his name for an hour at the beginning of early development then just worked off the concept art they based off his art.
He should have gotten it in writing, because it's kind of naive to think that someone in this industry is going to remember you after seeing a little bit of your art 3-4 years ago.
If he had been emailing them periodically, then I could se...
The graphics are great as is aside from a few minor ground textures here and there. Chances are they'll try to up performance.
Dedicate more processing power to physics, player counts, and AI I think. Maybe bigger draw distances, but I think those 3 would make the game a lot better than worrying about upping the graphics in any major way. Maybe to support megatextures or some more efficient texturing method, but the lighting was great, the models were great, the animation was gre...
just like last year, any lineup sucks if you ignore half of it.
And to those dismissing so many games as "generic third person shooters" or whatever you dismiss them as, great. That's one less great game you'll have to play.
And M$ won because E3 is supposed to get people excited for games and game systems, and M$ did a great job getting the public and the media excited about their system and their lineup.
did you play N3? It was a fun game. Me and my friends all enjoyed it, and it was one of the best open world hack n slash games this gen so far. It was way better than dynasty warriors. The only thing that really and truly sucked about it was the story.
The visuals were pretty impressive, the character counts were amazing, and the gameplay overall was pretty good.

It's to hypothetical. It's like trying to guess the weather to the day for next june.
There's just too many unknowns. The capital could be used to shorten the development time on franchises as well as on new ips, and there's no telling how many new ips could be made.
There's just way too many unknowns.
you probably have a car too. Why play games at all online when you can go to your friend's houses and play games with them.
But, I suppose calling your friend, asking him to play, getting up and switching cds, and then playing is so much easier than pressing 2 buttons and switching cds without having to even stop what you're doing in whatever game you're playing.
Let alone if you wanted to invite 15-20 friends to try to fill a room quickly.
At the end of...
