anybody know who does the nominations?
you never owned a 360 let alone 4. You're only lying to yourself.
It was released on the 27th in NA. For 4 days those aren't horrible numbers.
Considering Uncharted was out more than 4 times as long and sold 3 times as many it's not horrible.
you're an idiot.

here's the comparison.
Graphics:
"Although the differences are minor, the Xbox 360 version takes the win with overbright (glare/bloom) and softer dynamic shadows. We were also glad to see equal texture resolutions in both versions"
Performance:
"While neither version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 perfo...
they use default settings always.
They didn't dog the PS3 version for brightness or colors either. Read their comparison next time. 2/3 of the staff opinions even said they were getting the PS3 version, and all of their staff said the differences were too small to justify swaying in either direction.
You are making hate from nothing.
Color and brightness isn't even a factor in L O T comparisons. They compare framerate, screen tear, resolution, and texture quality. Sometimes model quality (though that usually doesn't matter as most just use the same models).
They aren't apologizing. They are explaining why there is a difference between the two.
360 fanboys don't watch HHG because all his videos just jack off PS3 fanboys.
1. Sony wouldn't quit, and they definitely wouldn't announce it. They would continue producing PS3s, they'd just discontinue investing in things outside of cutting costs. You'd just see a slow decline in games being developed for it by their studios. That's if they went that way at all.
2. They'd never kill the PS brand. They might change their philosophy to something more like nintendo's with a focus on making profits consistently through the lifetime of the product rather than ...
they will either spend money developing for the PS3 or they will spend that same money developing for the PC. They don't want to invest the money in RnD for the PS3 when they can just develop for the PC, hit a button and have a 360 version that just needs polishing.
That is their choice. END OF STORY.
Just because some companies decided to make the investment doesn't make Valve's choice incorrect.
For the last time. THE OPPORTUNITY COST OF DEVELOPING FOR...
you say you understand it, but the idea of opportunity cost is clearly over your head if you can't accept that as a legitimate reason.
Activision demanding the PS3 price cut is probably a huge contributing factor to the PS3 having such a significant price cut. A price cut that will help the industry as a whole with more customers, and most specifically PS3 gamers as PS3 developers will start to make more money.
you raise a pretty good point. You can't really expect them to be so open with their game when their last one sold less than other platforms and was pirated significantly.
You can blame Infinity Ward all you want, but I'd bet it's the pirate's fault they decided against a more open online system.
it's not out till the 12th on steam. It's pretty impressive that it's in the top 3 days before the release when it's a downloadable game.
it's simple microeconomics. Take a course if you want to learn about it.
They don't want to put time and money into learning PS3 development because 1. they are a PC developer, and 2. they don't care about advancing technology as much as they care about advancing gameplay.
you can whine about it all you want, but it has nothing to do with them being not talented, lazy, or them being arrogant. The PS3 just doesn't mesh with their plans and goals.
Not that I don't find this ammusing, but I have a feeling IW has a little more pull with the people who would hold the original copyright to those things (The US governemt).
I wouldn't be surprised if there was something in the mod agreement saying infinity ward can use whatever they make with it.
it's a RUMOR that killzone 3 is CONFIRMED for 2011, but somehow it will release in 2010?
buh?
It's an opportunity cost thing. If you spend 50 million doing a game on the PS3 that's 50 million you can't spend on other platforms, doing other RnD that's more relevant to the direction you want to go, or expanding your business.
Even major corporations that are making huge profits do the exact same thing. Just because you have money doesn't mean you should spend it on anything.
1. Have you guys considered having an audio guy to cut out ambient noise/volume level/cut out unrelated parts of your podcast? It would up the quality a lot and probably get ur podcasts to a more listenable time period.
2. Have you guys thought of getting someone to moderate your discussion? Just having one impartial dude just to organize your conversations would be great. There's a lot of times where 3 people will be talking and you cant hear anything anyone is saying.
outside of survive.
It's still a brilliant and emotion evoking experience. It's also incredibly fun.
head tracking is a much more realistic way to do 3d in the home. It would make other people in the room motion sick, but it would work on any TV 3d enabled, HD, or standard without the user needing to wear anything special (in most cases).
