It only failed to deliver if you expected to much from it. Do you get pissed because your 92 camry doesn't drive like a lambo too?
OMGZ GUIZ I'VE BEEN HAD!
edit: to each his own. one man's trash is another man's treasure.
was spent remaking the engine. The development time probably would have been about half what it was otherwise.
Also, they put the time in with a trilogy in mind. Don't look at it as 4 years for 1 game, but 8-10 years for 3 games. The work they've done so far will make sequels a lot easier, so in that sense it kind of counts as dev time towards the whole series, not just this game alone.
As that implied that he favored one of the systems. His history tends to show him generally unbiased.
I know it goes both ways. I just didn't like the way you implied he was biased either direction.
Most people were expecting mid 70's to 80's, and so far that's pretty much what it's averaging. I think there's going to be a couple more people that love it and a couple more that hate it, but the average is probably going to fall around 70.
It's easily better than the 1up review. "Yea... this sucks, and you know what? THIS SUCKS TOO... you know what else? that thing you already know is fine from the demo? sucks..." The 1up dude didn't even explain WHY half the stuff w...
yea... everyone who yells at sony fanboys automatically licks the penis of bill gates himself.
look at his comments. He's not especially biased.
Have you read the comment section of this article?
It's to ease the market in that direction. It's not the device that's going to usher in DD as a legitimate solution.
The next system is the one that's going to deal with that most likely. The 60gb system is more for people that download some game content or just video content. It's not for people that download almost everything.
I didn't even give anyone in this comment a disagree.
edit: I'm pretty sure he already did.
this is the replacement for the pro bundle, which is mostly for gaming. For someone that downloads a significant amount of stuff, you'll probably be getting an elite.
It's definitely a welcome upgrade, and there isn't really a downside at all.
They just aren't doing a presser. They're having a booth.
They're probably going to focus on playable demos of games they have coming this year instead of announcements.
you can replay any levels with your character. I don't think you can possibly max out your character without doing that. You almost certainly can't get all the good loot.
They have improved hardware reliability. Like 4 times.
RROD is not a single problem. It is any AND ALL general hardware problems. They've done a lot to fix most of the problems that cause it, and there's going to be a lot more done with the new board for repaired consoles.
Just because M$ doesn't have a press release every week explicitly saying they're fixing it doesn't mean they're not fixing it. They're obviously fixing it. It's the single biggest thing hurting th...
people should just stop reporting articles like this altogether. It goes both ways, and don't pretend like it doesn't.
disagreeing is not a reason to report. That goes for everybody.
They aren't ignoring RROD. They release a completely new hardware version of the console every year since launch. They are improving live twice this year. First, this spring, they increased the background code reliability. This fall they're upgrading the face of the service.
And everybody steals concepts from everybody.
ignorance of the truth does not make ignorance truth.
Just because M$ doesn't own the studios, it still publishes a LOT of games. It also owns publishing rights to a lot of games by third party developers.
You don't have to own a developer to get an exclusive. There's also a lot of great developers that are just asking to get their own studios funded by M$ (Itagaki and fatatsugi)
If you look around a little there's a review embargo until 2PM on the 19th for general press. IGN is rumored to have rights to do it earlier, and some other might be licensed, but that's what the deal is.
I just figured that out earlier.
-The majority of loot options
-use of all the different weapon types and how they affect gameplay
-weapon blueprints
-challenges and rewards for them
-getting higher up in the skill tree (If you check everything in the demo you can get about 3 levels higher than otherwise)
-intricacies of combat and how to use them affectively
-gameplay of the different classes.
The game plays completely differently depending on how you level up and which class...
Too human isn't a crappy game you get used to. It's a good game that you need to get used to before it gets good.
it's like a plane vs a helicopter. A plane you can handle reasonably with only the flight stick and the throttle. You try to fly a helicopter after doing that, and you probably will need a little bit more time to get used to working all the extra things before you can even get off the ground safely.
if you have a working Ipod, there's no reason to go get a new MP3 player. Contrast that with WoW, where it won't really stop functioning, it just gets dated. WoW is a lot easier to replace because of that.
WoW is consumable in the fact that you have to keep paying to stay entertained, where an ipod serves its purpose with no added cost.
pretty much. They weren't just sitting around for 5 years in a room yelling about which system would be best.
