Not a very well informed writer. How could he have left GT5 off the list? It will easily outsell all of those games. So I think that should count as be highly anticipated. I know I am most looking forward to GT5.
I've never seen any face or character that represents the Playstation. I don't see the PS having its own Mario or Master Chief. Playstation has always had many, many great characters/symbols (Crash, Spyro, Kratos, Snake, GTA, Sackboy, Drake, RE, Tekken, Jak, Ratchet, etc). If I were to put anything on their band I always see the Gran Turismo Logo over anything else. :/
Wasn't there an article not too long ago that said the Gears 3 will not be around until next gen, on the next Xbox?
I would definitely say it is worth a purchase. I played a Japanese ROM with an English patch so I could understand my bag and battle screen. But the entire story was in Japanese and I still had a great time. They took an already great game and just improved upon it. Of course I am a little biased and nostalgic about the game. So just keep checking up on and see if it is something you'd like. But to reiterate I loved it even if I couldn't understand it. lol
SoulSilver was a great remake. I really enjoyed playing it. It brought back a lot of nostalgia. :D
The RE games work very well with motion controls just look at RE4 for the Wii.
Why does everybody want another remake? Why not want something new(not France though)? It reminds me of the South Park episode where the kids stop directors from remaking classic movies. That is what gamers need to do, keep the classics they way they were and want new and exciting games. But hey, I guess that is just me. :/
Well, all that really matters is #1 and they clearly got it right on this list. Cerebral Bore IS the best weapon in gaming. :D
But a new weapon I am fond of it the Bolt Gun in KZ2. I love nailing Helgasts to walls. :D
I personally loved both FoM and 2. But they do need to bring back the health system form FoM, love getting health pack. I personally like the two weapon system. Also make it a little more dark both in setting and story. Oh, and use the Killzone 2 engine for it. :D
I don't care at all what the media crowns game of the year, all I know is GT5 is easily my game off the year already for 2010.
RE5 is easily the best looking multiplat game to date. No question about it.
There is always another Mario game in the works.

A hardest games list that excludes Ghost 'n Goblins fails hard in my opinion. But whatever.
I really wish these videos wouldn't say "gameplay trailer" when in fact all of it is cutscenes. None of that was gameplay.
How do stories like this get approved? It is from the developer. What are they supposed to say. "Well, the game has been delayed many times and well it is still pretty bleak." Of course the devs are going to hype the game.
That looks messed up. It looks like they tried to make her look like Adriana Lima and failed miserably.
If done correctly the PSP2(if even in development) could absolutely obliterate all handheld competition. It can do so much now hopefully they actually put thought in the next one.
RE2 was my favorite in the series. Everything about it was amazing. Plus, Claire is my favorite character in the series.
