do it in games grounded in our own reality then thats fine, and even then it has to be done tastefully, but if they start putting ads in fictional games we got a problem. Plus if a ad pops up full screen during a game the game better damn well be free.

Skate was indeed the best thing to happen to sports games in a while, and Army of Two, and Dead Space both look extremely good.
I'll disagree. first he called gears a fps, and as far as first person shooters goes if killzone 2 comes out ps3 will most likely take the cake. Honestly if killzone 2 delivers it will be the best console fps shooter of all time. As far as 3rd person shooters 360 has it on lock because of gears, and they're both getting dark sector, which seems to be an underrated title. I like 3rd person shooters a lot better personally so hopefully more games will come out with mods so you can play both way...

It might have some tactics when compared to halo, but imo not to a game like gears. Gears was all about tight tactical teamwork, and getting to know your opponents, and if you weren't working together properly with your team then you were most likely gonna get whooped on. Thats the experience I want because otherwise I might as well be playing with ai. gears is one hell of a game whether people choose to give it due credit or not is their problem. Thats all I have left to say about it.

Considering I own a freakin ps3, and not a 360 because frankly I don't have the money or the need for a system that gets practically the same games overall, and as I said gears is the only reason to own a 360 as far as exclusives go, and one game ain't cuttin it for me.

IMO the line up of games coming out this year easily make it the best in gaming history. Besides bioshock 07 was quite bland. I don't care what the media likes to say.
Gears 2 will kill R2 in every way imaginable except story probably. Don't give me this 60 player bs cuz it's just too much, and no tactics involved. Gears2 will also undoubtedly sell better as well. R1 was just a overly generic boring game with too many players online as it was so they have a lot to prove this time, and 60 players ain't helping.
Ps3 on the other hand has a way better exclusive line up so it doesn't really matter. besides gears there's no real reason to own a 360 ...
I totally agree that Gears 2 is the only must own exclusive on the 360 this year. It's going to be one hell of a game, and sell phenomenally maybe sell more copies than any other game this year with exception of gta4. NG2 also looks good, but the whole genre is not really that appealing, and is more of a rental than a must buy due to lack of online multiplayer.
If M$ didn't have this it wouldn't be much of a fight, but more of a slaughtering when compared to the amazing ps3 excl...

This game looks great, and hopefully plays great as well. Honestly there is no real hype around this game so that just flat out makes no sense to say it's a hyped game. Also I love how people act like they're the all knowing sh*t online.. "The Genius has spoken," gimme a break.
