But at the same time I have to look at Nintendo (as someone stated above) how they outlined their goals with their system. They found their nitch in the market and they are sticking to it and they know that they will succeed for that designed market.

There were a few comments that were stated above that really addressed an interesting point. At the beginning of the 360 announcement/release and with the announcement of PS3 and their features...Microsoft and many fans aurgued the point that 1080p is completely unnecessary and some even stated that is was a 'waste of technology'.
