Only your squad can comunicate with eachother.
Only the squad leader/Radio man can comunicate with other squads
let there be a huge variety in vehicles
let the maps be insanely huge.
And let there be an online map which you can use to tell other squads where you need reinforcements,or air support etc.
With that in mind,that would be the greatest game i've ever played.
