Started following the game on twitch 2 weeks before the closed beta ended on pc. Instantly loved what I saw from the competitive scene. Once I played the closed beta, I knew I found my next time sink. May 24th can't come fast enough!
Loved it and I am currently feeling withdrawals. I am awaiting my copy of uncharted 4 to arrive via gamefly. This should keep me busy until the 24th.
Man I can't wait to knock out both dlcs together. It will be like playing a whole other game.
I finished the main story and many of the side quest, but never touched the dlc. I can't wait to run it all at once, will be as much content as some currently released games offer.
I am having fun with it, but people dont seem to understand diverse team comps. Everyone wants to be the dps. Before playing the beta, I knew I had to be the one to learn tank/support classes. Hopefully upon full release and the eventual reworked ranked system, people will be more flexible in their picks.
The beta on the ps4 was my first run at a mobo. While I found the overall experience fun, I knew overwatch beta was to be released on the same day. Being more seasoned on FPS games, I'm going with the more comfortable choice. Some of my friends are doing both, but on games that require consistent play to stay good, I'll stick to one. I played to about level 32 on ps4 beta before making my decision as well.
My friend list went from 10+ playing it everyday, to maybe 1 every so often. I traded the game in, even with the season pass active (burned just like with destiny). I am sure it's still popular, but no true pvp mode killed it for me. Plus the incursion was a weak end game add-on.
Game is dead to me, as I traded it in. It was fun for a good bit, but I slowly lost interest.
Yeah I personally have been watching the overwatch competitive leagues. I'm excited for the game and wanted to learn as much as I can before release.
Yeah, I traded mine in this week. I dropped 7 days between two characters. Most of this time came before incursions. For me its the lack of dedicated pvp modes. I withstood the destiny grind because of the pvp modes. Getting good loot made pvp more fun. In the division I find going rogue in the dz boring after a few man hunts. Overall, it was fun for about 3-4 days playtime, after that a real bore.
Traded mine in yesterday, just lost interest. It was a tough trade as I went with gold version. Maybe if the game dramitcally changes in the next few months, I'll come back. I never had that same drive like I had with destiny. A structured PvP mode would have been fun.
I ran it on Tuesday and Wednesday and haven't played the game since. We hit wave 15 and died. I see no purpose of continuing the grind in this game. Half the time I have to matchmake with randoms, as all my friends have moved on. I honestly regret buying the gold edition and continually consider trading in the game.
Yeah I played around 6 pm EST and had major issues. About an hour later I was able to play with two buddies over and over. I find this game enjoyable, but I am a complete noob to mobas. At the end of the day I want overwatch.
Want to try this game, but stuck in open queue for 30 mins now. I am also a noob to moba's and was hoping for some type of tutorial.
yeah the only really interesting enemy is the lmb with their various tactics.
Yeah I dropped 5 days and was feeling burnt out long before. Most of my friends seemed to have moved on as well. I feel obligated to keep the game as I bought the gold edition with season pass. I'll just come back for new content.
Yesterday we ran into this guy on xbox, who just wouldn't go down. I'm rocking 190k dps mp5 with 53% crit chance and 130% crit dmg. We would all mow him down and he would always get his health back, or barely take damage. Any ideas as to what his build may have been. He didn't always have survivor link active. It really turned me off pvping in this game if, one dude can eat bullets like the king and keep coming back.
Anyone else already getting burnt out of the current content in this game? Today we just went rogue for the hell of it and camped the spot by the dz02 entrance. Survived 2 manhunts and killed about 25 players and I just can't seem to care. I've dropped over 5 days, I plan to take a break until new content is pushed out.
Imagine if this game released on a Friday. All weekend to grind not giving a damn about anything else.
Yeah I found the beta fun for a day or two then I just suddenly did not want to play. Some buddies were playing it on release and they were all playing overwatch beta, later in the week.
