I live in the Dallas/Fort worth metroplex and everyplace I went to at Christmas that carry the consoles. (2 Best Buys and Walmart) Every 360 was sold out besides the Arcade edition, and there were still a TON of PS3s still on the shelves, both the 40g and the 80g. I personally saw Best Buy sell through a skid of 360s (50 or so Pro editions) and about 20 Elites in 3 days. (Wed.-Fri.) Is VG talking about shipped or sold? If they count shipped, then I think January could be a big month for the...
Cool. That's why MS should have put a hard drive into every 360.
If they do something with it, I hope it's to a whole nother level than what is in the Wii or PS3.

They need to use all unknown people. This movie will make whoever acts in it an overnight sensation. (sort of like the Harry Potter cast) Maybe throw in a few of the Bungie staff. Us gamers would get a kick out of finding the staff through out the film.

I had this game on my buy list, but after watching the video, I could care less. Too bad, I was expecting better. We'll just have to see.
Gears 2 next Christmas it will smash any game on any console, hands down. There's nothing like chain-sawing a m*ther f**ker in half and watching a head come apart after a shot from a sniper rifle! Then there's the torque bow and grenade sticks! Damn I love this game!
Doesn't bother me if PS3 gets it. I think everyone should enjoy the carnage!

I enjoy them both for different reasons. If I had my choice, it would be the first Halo. Man I love that pistol. There was just something special about the first. Maybe it was all the LAN parties.
Metal Gear will be their big one.
