Not really arguing with you, but:
1. Users/buyers already knew that the Slim didn't have OtherOS feature so it wasn't a loss, but owners of the fat paid $600 with OtherOS as part of the feature list.
2. Are you sure the Slim can do BC I mean considering they took the BC hardware away?

Yeah.. I have an Archos 5 and an Asus EEE PC.. sold the EEE PC and hardly use the Archos 5. The Archos is too buggy and only good as a media player.
They could do like DirecTV and just demand have you pay $XXXX for using illegal access card devices or go to court. Most peeps just paid the $3000.
Man.. PS3 fans must really love Natal. They're always the first to post on Natal news. I could be wrong, but have they shown actual games for Move yet? Isn't Move being released this year?

1. When PS3 had hardware BC, PS3 fans laughed at the Xbox 360s BC. Then Sony took it out and PS3 fans say "who really needed it."
2. When PS3 launched with the ability to install Linux, PS3 fans heralded how it was an awesome feature and how the 360 was a closed system. Again, with the rumor of it going away, its "who really needs it."
While YLOD is not even close to RROD, it does exists. My launch 60gb is still working, but its hardly used. I've bought 2 YLOD (60 and 80) on ebay and was able to fix those. I've also fixed 2 of my friends PS3s (both 60gb).

Why do PS3 fans care?
Weird... I don't see PS3 fans in the Mediacreate hardware sales complaining why its only in Japan.
LBP definately isn't a console seller.. even though it did win a lot of awards, it caters to specific group of peeps. UC2 probably more of a system seller, but Sony just doesn't advertise as well as MS. I mean look at Halo and Gears. Gears was a new IP and MS advertised it like crazy and people wanted to get a 360 just to play it.
Sorry, but do you asks the same questions to PS3 fans when PS3 shows a better sales month? Just curious cause when PS3 is selling more, PS3 fans sure celebrate it.
Everytime users have problems with a new firmware pS3 fans ALWAYS call it BS, but yet Sony always release an update or comments on the problems. I know.. its impossible for Sony to have bugs in their code.
