I see it more as another company ms has paid to take services away from non-ms users. Never liked the fact that silver feels like a punishment service, instead of gold feeling like a reward. People compare gold and ps+ but at least + feels like you're getting something for your money (monthly free games, even if they're lame). With gold I always felt like I was paying to do something I was doing on the pc for free for years.

I fail to see the "gimmick" in this. It looks like they've spent a huge amount of time perfecting the light gun peripheral to me.
Fire select mode and 2 ways to reload, plus advanced turning abilities really show that they aren't just trying to make a quick buck.
I agree, but most games that pack it on right after release dont have a big multi player component. I can handle map packs but addition content and quests are different.
Socom fans are a fickle bunch, and "vets" like suckmyturbin and others just want socom 2. I personally like what zipper has shown so far.

Most ps3 owners I know actually have both systems. We buy them with money we earn from having jobs. Maybe you could ask your mommy for a ps3 instead of acting like a singe console retard.
Sony loves the whole demo thing. It instills confidence in game buying in my opinion.
