I'm sure it will sell quite a bit but if it is released at the same or close to the price of the DSi/DSiXL will it kill off that line of DS hardware? I for one will be picking one up day one but hate to put away my DSi and DS fat.

Are the demos only for WiiWare titles? If so, thats fine for now but I really want actual disc game demos

I agree fallingdove, I was quick to anger on the subject of comparing pre-beta screens with finished product screens and not taking into account the numerous times waggle has been implemented as a useless add-on. I do have confidence in Treyarch with this port simply because they did a fine job with WaW and they actually support the Wii unlike IW.

Do you own GTA? Do you enjoy it? In fact, do you own or enjoy the other 2 systems or games for those systems? If you answer yes then why do you even care if Wii Fit or any other "non-game" sells well? It doesn't affect your game.I have all 3 consoles and enjoy them all. Though I do favor my Wii moreso and my PS3 comes in a very close second.

Wow. Imagine having Wii Play as a pack in. I had no idea that NCL wanted to put it in there. I did purchase Wii Play for the extra Wii-mote but I did find the games to be enjoyable. It really could have turned out quite different if Wii Play was included.
Good article. I agree with the author that Wii games that have been out since launch should drop in price. To me it doesn't make sense to keep game prices at a premium after 3 years. Perhaps 2 years should be the max. CoD:MWR, 2 years old and will be 59.99.....and yes I will pay it. Shame on me?
Yes, even with all of the lights on in the house and COPS on T.V. I still jumped. Possible purchase.
I have seen tons of pics and video for MW2 but I have yet to see one single pic of the improved visuals for MWR. A short, one or two minute video briefly showing the campaign and a little tease for the multiplayer would satisfy my MWR thirst. Throw us a bone, hype us up, quit talking and let us start gawking.
I am glad to see the Wii get the respect it deserves. Imagine if all devs took the Wii seriously from day one, we would be getting MW2 come 10 Nov. I'm happy to get MWR and have pre-ordered it. No I am not picking up MW2 for either of the other two consoles.....dual analog,for me, has become a strange and foreign way to play FPS games now.

Looks like I will be adding another title to my PS3 library bringing my total to 2. That is not a PS3 diss its just that I bought my PS3 2 days after the $299 price drop and only have MGS4. I think Nintendo should start selling Wiis with Motion Plus/Sports Resort bundles to guarantee everyone who purchases a Wii is on the same page control wise. To make it feel like more of a good deal they can keep the original Wii Sports in there. '09 is not the year of a particular system, it's the year of the gamer!

If that is your view then the PS3 and 360 are not gaming machines either. The 360 wants you to watch Netflix, use Facebook and Twitter. The PS3 wants you to watch Blu-Ray movies and both allow you to store music and pictures. I am a gamer and appreciate what each console offers or "tools"...
As I read TooTalls comments it leads me to belive that he is one of the "Loyal Nintendo fans" that actually never owned a Wii in the first place but feel saying he did gives him the right to complain about the system. Arius Dion described him as well as 80% of the members of this site perfectly.

I must say that I am excited about the fact that we will be recieving all of the multiplayer modes as well as all of the maps. I still play WaW daily but 8 maps really becomes tiresome after 4-5 hours of gameplay.
I do wonder when this will all stop. It seems that any move the other two companies make people feel that Nintendo is doomed or they MUST do something to compete. Ok, lets say sales take a nose dive, does that mean the company is suddendly going to show their cards and leave the table? Personally, I don't get to wrapped up in sales figures but I do enjoy seeing Nintendo doing well in the market. Like you said, they are doing it right.
