I went with 360 over PS3 for now, 360 just has the games, and most of them are great games at around half the launch price.
problem I had with it was the controls as well, but controls are pretty damn important wouldn't you say. Further more, its not that there's a lot wrong with killzoneII, its just that it doesn't do anything special, its just another FPS with pretty graphics.
Ninja Gaiden II was dropped 2 points in most reviews just because of the camera, KillzoneII has crap controls and it gets 10s across the board and is called the best ever made in the genre? Talk about gaming press carrying wat...
Old games with lower prices don't usually outsell full priced popular new games. On top of that, KillzoneII is supposed to be the best shooter ever made, if that is the case it should be outselling everything no matter the age or price.
I think maybe Killzone II was over rated by PS3 fans, everyone I know who has played it including myself agree that it lacks the refinement of Halo, and was not nearly as good as everyone claimed, pretty much a generic shooter with pretty graphic...
Microsoft and Sony for that matter are giving us something for nothing with these updates, and no one should complain about that.

The reason these estimates don't work is because they are based on current sales trends. If PS3 drops in price, MS will drop the price of the 360 premium, this will cause a huge boost in 360 sales. I dont see PS3 ever catching 360, not even after a new xbox comes out, because 360 will be super cheap by then and have a ton of great games in its catalog. I can just get LBP on my PSP now that its no longer a PS3 exclusive. If they keep doing this I will never have to get a PS3, all its games are coming to PSP, this will save me alot of cash.

Recession or not, all sony's products have lower priced counters in the competition that perform just as well, or close enough so that the higher cost of the Sony product is not justified.

The reason revenues are down is because shrinking zune sales and probably shrinking sales of other devices like mice and keyboards, and the xbox360 price drop. anywhere. It used to be in first place everywhere. Its in 3rd place in EU and USA, and 2nd place in Japan. The numbers don't lie, numbers and only numbers make it the underdog. All this other stuff about how you guys still think its doing great is irrelevant, all Sony Nintendo and Microsoft care about is market share, and in that realm, PS3 is now the underdog.
