Though I'm still wondering why Rockstar's first Switch title doesn't end with 'Theft' (a talk for another post), this title would be pretty convincing if I had never played it, since it is the complete package with an added plus of portability.
I would say, "play it," but that feels stupid. Okay, take it out to dinner first, ya know, 'get to know her' kinda thing. Then afterwards, see if she's into kart racing, boxing, soccer, graffiti, or - if you want to go out on a limb, skip all that and go straight to role-playing. You're welcome, sir.
I think you're one hundred percent correct, rico. Only way to speak, though, is either with our wallet or get more gamers in a petition.
Easy there, analyst. Nintendo is on fire this year, and 130 million would be cool to see, but let's get to 10 million first.
It's 2K. So you can't expect too much in terms of upgrades from a previous year; their Madden mentality. They always seem to release a good one and then a bad one, in my opinion.
Yeah, I don't typically jump at sports titles too often neither. Ever since all consoles started getting Smackdown vs. Raw (2007, I believe) it's all went downhill for me in interest because of game mechanics and annualizing.
Now, blackblades, if WCW vs NWO on the N64 was your last title I truly hope you at least played WWF No Mercy on the console. Fantastic game. WWF 2000 was good too.
First wrestling game I've been interested in for a while now. Think I may go for the Switch version, unless 2K goes for gimp.
Oh, and completely off topic here, but I really wish these weren't annual games. One every two years would be great, so there's more time to improve.
I like how the player and the girl climb the rockface and he gets to the top and watches her fall down in front of him exhausted.
That's what I like to do on my dates too! I scramble up past her as we climb to the top of the mountain. I then take a seat and watch her fumble to get over the top with my kind words echoing over her head, "Earn my company!"
Bungie should have left everything alone and let all the lefties grow the hell up.
Hey, what do you call a person winning an argument with a liberal? A racist.
An 8.5? Out of a 100 maybe. Rouge Agent was made in a time when a lot of people still talked about the original Goldeneye for Nintendo 64 (not that they haven't stopped), and EA being themselves released this. Rouge Agent didn't bring anything new to the table, felt rushed, and is a great example of a cash-in.
This is a mid-gen upgrade, not a next-generation console; so to be honest with One X, all anyone should expect are enhanced games that share the same ecosystem of the original Xbox One. Unless Microsoft wants to surprise everyone and call their upgrade Xbox 400.
As for exclusives, they're great bragging rights, and I'm sure Microsoft has them ready to announce next year at e3, or possibly before, but their ace this year is the Xbox One X. The console's power is your br...
All games, eventually, will be like this I'd imagine, so I can understand the jump. I'm a dinosaur so I'll stick to physical copies for the time being.
As of now, though, EA doesn't have enough must-own titles/franchises to warrant a digital service. Man, if I'm not mistaken the last game I got from them was 7 years ago and that was a gift.
The only thing I can deduce here is that the author doesn't play much, which in itself is ridiculous because he's a game journalist. Right?
Anyway, perplexity aside, Sunshine still holds up well enough today (I rebeat a few months ago). The only thing that might get someone to deduct points would be the camera at times, which the author admits, but even then that was pretty rare for me. The only thing that massively irritates me (and back in 2002) were some of the pack-less b...
This is both fantastic news and a nice middle finger to the scalpers.
Now the real question is: did Nintendo make more because it was good business or was this good business and a clever way to make up for the Switch could have been sales due to component shortages?
After the rumors right to the announcement, I was on the fence whether or not to own this game. It was just.. weird, and I wasn't sure what to think.
After a trailer and read a bit more about it I took a shot in the dark and purchased it. The game was definitely a pleasant surprise and one of the best surprises I've had in gaming in a while and, I dare say, I'd love a sequel. I tip my hat to Ubisoft for this one.
LA Noire should be an interesting re-release, for all consoles in terms of interest, but I personally won't be playing it again, as I imagine most won't.. unless you want to take your cases on the go.
In my opinion, the game lacks any real replay value and the open world is rather hollow and pointless, but to each their own.
I kind of doubt it, but if so, they quit while they were ahead on a high note.
This is most likely true, which was all but confirmed with the 3rd's announcement.
Not the best in the series, in my unpopular opinion, but it does deserve to out sale Twilight Princess (which isn't bad).
Alright, lemme get my glasses on and lay my cane aside so I can post this. Okay, now, there are some traditionalists that could easily argue that gaming went downhill the moment it stopped being 2D, because, ya know, cameras, man. Don't get me wrong because they do have some interesting points, but Gen 5 seems to always gets brought in on things the Traditionals (and the younger crowd) missed out on.
Looking back on Generation 5, there's was a lot of innovation - not just o...
