Wow. I have truly seen it all now.
This is going to be the tightest Game of the Year race that I can recall in - sheesh - 19 years.
You bring up a great point! Hey, maybe when this Battlefront fiasco is over EA, ironically, would have done something good in the industry.
What a read on something I knew I shouldn't have. Well, where to begin?
First off, I always ignore microtransactions in a game, but I've been against them since day one too. So any game that has them, no matter the company - seriously, pick one - I've been vocal.
I would argue that the gaming industry is one of the best - if not the best - industry in the world, because the community gets a say.
We all belong to the same club, becau...
Special thanks to all the studios sounding off on this matter, and vocal gamers who didn't go low with death threats.
EA cares enough to react because they've had 1 1/2 to 2 generations to adapt with negativity. I'll give them the benefit of a doubt when they smarten up and put their studios and the community first.
Technically aren't they already since their games are on PC?
Basically all of the Big 3 will be in the future. Games will be a service, like Netflix, on a smart tv or streaming device. Only thing needed would be a controller. If they happen to be separated it would only be by channels or service exclusives, but all games would be readily available on the same device.
Undeniably, yes. Remember those NES and Super Nintendo bundles? Those alone are the benchmark of how to do it right.
Apology rejected.
I was about to say EA does funny things to people, until I read "brilliant" and "EA" in the same sentence and forgot that comes with a sarcasm patch.
Holy crap - tomorrow's news today.
I can live with this IO. So how about that sequel, so I can forgive you already?
Honestly the system is fun, and I'm impressed so far, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. The Switch has only been around 8 months, and that's not enough to leap over full generations of other hardware yet in my opinion. We'll continue this conversation in 4 or 5 years.
Author brings up some good points, but of course it's deliberate! I don't blame them with all the online attacks over the years. Nintendo is simply playing catch-up in the spotlight with a service that they've only dabbled with. Besides, we all got to start somewhere; afterall, you don't start by fighting the world heavyweight champion, you work your way up through the ranks.
Very true. A lot of consoles are becoming harder to come by unscathed these days, and I can attest of this through my travels around the web and to different stores over the past few years. It's actually been quite fun. Thankfully, I'm becoming better at repairing. Well, here's hoping more gamers come to the rescue.
Oh, and not gonna lie, I about had a heart attack when I saw the state of those gaming consoles pictured. Sheesh.
I think EA gets away with so much because they know how to capitalize on how a lot of gamers have this "everything now" mentality these days. Yes, EA causes harm. Yes, they have negative practices. And yes, many people disagree with them. The only solutions I can think of to stop them is to tell all those "now" people to stop, which is definitely unlikely, or all rally together, because not buying their product doesn't seem to slow them up. Ideas, anyone?
Wow, even EA's own Community Manager puts the "ass" in class. EA certainly knows how to pick them.
Love that movie. Easily one of Cameron's best. Kojima just earned some cool points, but I expect nothing less from a Escape from New York fan!
So Nintendo could keep the focus on games, which was the way to go. We shouldn't be focused on applications anyway.
Side note: Julian Eggebrecht is the president of Factor 5 and works as the vice president of technology at Hulu also? Just. Wow. I never would have guessed that!
To be honest, some of these characters didn't bother me, but to add Navi feels icky, and to not have Shao Kahn feels wrong. Also, Sherry from Resident Evil 2 was worse than Ashley in Resident Evil 4, at least I thought.
Now The Dog from Duck Hunt, though, yes! That mocking a-hole. Who didn't try to shoot him?!
